Yawn. Beltway theater here. Who cares if the kenyans stooge testifies.

Interesting because Chaffetz is snubbing Trump and refusing to go to the convention. Presumably under Mormon Mafia orders.

Chaffetz and the White House have been engaged in an escalating feud, all on the heels of a New York Times Magazine piece where Rhodes was quoted boasting about the administration’s success in crafting a public narrative for the Iran deal. The profile on Rhodes quotes him saying they built an “echo chamber” of experts who sold that narrative to young, often inexperienced reporters.

This is just stupid on so many levels.

First rule of the con is you never let the rube know that he has been conned.

So now these young reporters will never trust Rhodes again. He has let it out for all the world to know that he led them down the primrose path and had his way with them.

Boasting in public of a victory is never wise.

The old saying that you know the greatness of a man by the power of his enemies does not mean that one should seek to make enemies of powerful men.

Congressional Republicans rarely achieve any of their goals mainly because they are rarely motivated to do so. Anger at being embarrassed in public for a proud man is a lot of motivation.

This was a bad move by a stupidly arrogant man. Typical of a Obama man.

CONGRESS does Not need PERMISSION from Obama, or ANYONE, they have every right to subpoena him, and the Speaker can ISSUE A WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST for Not Complying and FORCE HIM TO TESTIFY, then JAIL HIM IF HE REFUSES!!!

And Congress is Allowing ALL OF IT, Way to Go Paul Ryan!!

Congress has ALL the power in washington, the executive and judicial branch operate according to the whims of CONGRESS!

Congress can Remove the President
Congress can remove the head of every executive agency Congress can remove ALL of their employees
Congress can Abolish every agency they so choose
Congress can remove EVERY JUDGE IN AMERICA, including every supreme court justice.
Congress can abolish every federal court except the supreme Court
Congress can decide which cases the Judicial Branch can hear and decide
CONGRESS can Imprison ANYONE they want for any reason they so desire for as long as they wish.
Congress can declare WAR

No other governing body has even 10% of the power CONGRESS has!!

CONGRESS IS ALLOWING ALL OF IT!!!

Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)

If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms.

Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt.

Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress.

Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive.

247 DAYS LEFT OF OBAMA with inauguration day being Jan 20th 2017

Roughly 180 days left until November 8th when Obama is rendered useless...he is a lame duck and after Donald Trump wins there is not much Obama+Congress will do in a lame duck session to go against Trump. Not in any major ways.

So much to hide that they will have to annex surrounding territory to bury it all....

God catch:

Two lessons here:

1: Rhodes’ testimony would have been dangerous to WH. One does not defend something unless fearful of losing it.

2: None of the “young reporters” careers will be negatively effected. It will simply go down as being part of the “greater good” of “helping” Obama. In fact, many of their peers will laud them.
