Chaffetz and the White House have been engaged in an escalating feud, all on the heels of a New York Times Magazine piece where Rhodes was quoted boasting about the administration’s success in crafting a public narrative for the Iran deal. The profile on Rhodes quotes him saying they built an “echo chamber” of experts who sold that narrative to young, often inexperienced reporters.

This is just stupid on so many levels.

First rule of the con is you never let the rube know that he has been conned.

So now these young reporters will never trust Rhodes again. He has let it out for all the world to know that he led them down the primrose path and had his way with them.

Boasting in public of a victory is never wise.

The old saying that you know the greatness of a man by the power of his enemies does not mean that one should seek to make enemies of powerful men.

Congressional Republicans rarely achieve any of their goals mainly because they are rarely motivated to do so. Anger at being embarrassed in public for a proud man is a lot of motivation.

What fun is bring a manipulative, Machiavellian master of the universe if no one knows who and what you are?

This also demonstrates how insular and out of touch the Obama inner circle are in their self imposed bubble with its own echo chamber and lack of diverse and dissenting opinions

Rhodes is no doubt stunned at the backlash his feckless and irresponsible comments have generated . The guy is completely surrounded by sycophants, yes men and fellow travelers -all of whom think and talk just like he does and has probably not heard a dissenting opinion in 8 years

Here is the fun part

For the last 8 years these jack wagons have betrayed, back stabbed and double crossed pretty much the entire Middle East , Western and Eastern Europe, the Sudan, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Scandinavia, most of Africa and they have made personal enemies of Vladimir Putin along with most of the Russian and Ukrainian high level leadership. They have personally bragged about their parts in executing drone strikes against many terrorists And they have double crossed their friends in ISIS and other terror groups

They gave done this while arrogantly taunting and thumbing their noses at the the people they are tormenting-all from the safety of the secret service guarded White House walls knowing they were untouchable because they had the full force of the American military, who they despise BTW, protecting them

I have never seen anything like this White House in my life

In 250 days these sociopaths will be out of office and will go back to living in their moms basements and being the nobodies they were until they followed an even greater nobody President into the white house

There are going to be a lot of very pissed off and unforgiving people looking for pay back for the horror and destruction these profoundly destructive people have inflicted on the world

These smarty pants tin pots should start coming to this realization around late December and all of them , from BO on down should be very afraid for their future
