Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trumps closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
So Basically everyone >:P
I think it will be Sessions. Hope so.
I vote NO to all those picks.
Sarah is politically radioactive (through no fault of her own).
Cruz is constitutionally ineligble and dislikes Trump intensely.
Christie is a political nothingburger.
Kasich is just plain nuts.
Rubio is an open borders traitor, who’s also ineligible.
I suggest they continue their executive search. Heck, I think Carson would be a great pick.
I’d rather see someone of neutral emotional value as his running mate. Trump is quite a guy, and needs the campaign focused on himself, and his vision for America. His running mate should be someone not involved in the recent brouhaha for the nomination.
Someone well qualified for the job should God forbid something terrible happen that Donald Trump cannot finish his term of course, but someone NOT involved with a stigma as a loser, or extremist due some campaign policy.
Now who would that be? NOT Sarah, (Cabinet).NOT Newt (COS), WHO?
At one time I would have suggested Ted Cruz. Now I’m not sure. He really dropped in my opinion over the last month, stooped low for zingers. I was really NOT impressed and then some. I like Christy and Rick Perry.
Then it IS going to be Sarah!
Sarah and some others are acceptable VP candidates like Jeff Sessions or Maine Governor Paul Le Page.
