There is a bridge replacement project I’ve worked on, and you’d be surprised by the sheer number of dumbasses who ignore the multiple day glo orange reflective signs stating “Road is closed/ bridge out 1 mile”, followed by the signs saying “Road closed 1000ft”, then “Road closed 500ft”, ending at the big signs with 18 inch tall letters spelling out “ROAD CLOSED”. Then they get mad because they have to turn around and go back.
What you need is a sign that says,"Get off your damn cell phone right now or someone will be using theirs to call 911 after you plunge to your death in 500 ft, you moron"
