They elected RINO Senator Chuck Hagel twice.
They elected Ben Nelson, a “moderate” Democrat, twice to the US Senate, and twice as governor.
They also frequently allocate one of their five electoral votes to the Democrat presidential candidate - presumably from the Lincoln congressional district.
