Today, TV reality star and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is meeting with House Speaker Paul Ryan to iron out differences between them. While we would give anything to be a fly on the wall during that meeting, we can only speculate about topics of conversation.
If we had to guess, here is what we expect Paul Ryan and Donald Trump to discuss. Feel free to take to Twitter to weigh in. Use the hashtag #TrumpRyanSummit.
Topics at the Trump-Ryan summit:
Trumka is irrelevant. His union members know that Trump is not a free-trade candidate, thus the “Which country will we outsource jobs to first?” is a transparent lie.
Move over Hoffa,Trumka is making reservations....
Well I don’t like Trumpka.
Lyin Trumpka
Sounds to me like he is talking about the Obama administration. Trumka is totally confused.
Not even funny.
The clock is running on Ryno. He only has so long to conform. I am getting tired of this tail trying to wag the Dog. I guess ill let DJT take care of him but that arrogant POC is just about to piss me off. .
Did you even read the post?
In copious detail. Ryno is running out of time. I don’t want to hear much more about him.
Trumpka must be tired of winning...he hasn’t won anything since getting his butt handed to him in Wisconsin.
Trumka MAY NOT like Trump (BFD) but his membership is ANOTHER STORY!
Trumka is one YUGE Alpha Hotel...always was...always will be.
Ryno must conform soon. Behavior like this will not be tolerated.
So where is the darn endorsement Ryan? Still not ready, man-punk?
Trumka is apparently so stupid or dishonest that he doesn’t realize:
1) that wages are suppressed by unlimited immigration. Trump’s proposals would reduce the import of unskilled labor, which will tend to increase wages.
2) Trump proposes to penalize US corporation for offshoring jobs by instituting some sort of reimport tariff on the products. (I don’t think this would work, but it is the opposite of what Trumka says).
3) Unlike the Clintons, Trump has no history of paying women less for equal work.
4) My dream is not only a national right to work law, but a statutory ban on collective bargaining and any right to strike for federal employees. Employees should be able to join unions, but the government should not deal with them in any way.
5) The how a bill becomes law discussion would be useful. Thankfully, Obama was too aloof to work with the Dems in Congress. Trump would be smart to create working relationships with Ryan and McConnell from the get go, to pass a reform agenda immediately without squandering opportunity fighting among themselves.
I made it 4 words into the article. “TV reality star...”
Nope. Won’t read it.
I have obtained this transcript of the meeting:
SPEAKER RYAN — “Don’t hurt me.”
DONALD TRUMP — “Nevermore.”
