Trump needs to replace the entire Republican “leadership team” or else they will continue to thwart reforms and prove to be a bigger obstacle than the Democrats. Its already painfully evident that the current GOP leadership cannot be trusted.

No maybe about it. The only agreement that matters is both come out against the DEM platform, and both agree that Trump will be the GOP opponent. That can happen even while Ryan and Trump otherwise have serious differences. Those differences can be handled later.
I agree with your statement; however, I think Trump would have an easier time negotiating with the Pubbies in leadership than he would with Pelousi and Schumer (taking over Senate from Reid next year). Ryan and McConnell rolled over for Odumbass, so Trump should have no problem with them. I think it would be more difficult for him with the Dims holding the House and Senate (especially since Nancy and Chuckie love to get in front of the cameras). That said, I’d love to see a different Republican Speaker and Senate Leader - Ryan and McConnell have been disastrous and there are more articulate Pubbies out there.
My hope is, Speaker Ryan comes out after this meeting announcing he is retiring from government work.

Its not really “government work”. Trust me, for people on Capitol Hill and in the DC bureaucracy its viewed as a game. They only “work” on behalf of their own interests.

Trump is a deal maker. He would prefer to have Ryan on his side. That does not mean they have to be in lock step on every issue.
My guess is that both sides will be “pleased to have met, and they will be anxious to work together going forward”. Few actual details will emerge, if any.
Ryan and his Republican ilk on Capitol Hill are just a bunch of liars. How do you negotiate anything with people of no character or credibility?

Amazing how these guys are. They can’t get enough of the man.. Then we hear that the low life Bob Woodward has assigned 20 reporters to dig up dirt on Trump.
They might find in the end, that the man is a true American, and worthy of our support.
When Donald speaks, people listen. As a matter of fact, when people speak about Donald everyone still listens. It’s amazing the gravitas that this man possesses and how he can suck all the air out of the room.
Cruz whined incessantly about it while turning down interviews and Hillary will do the same. She must be FUMING over the attention that Trump’s presence commands and how everyone hangs on his every word.
This man will be our next President.
