Trump will meet with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at 9am this morning. All the networks will be covering live remarks made by both men following the meeting.
The URL above links to the various video postings on this meeting thus far, (amazing how much coverage all ready), so Freepers will need to find their own source, (FOX, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc).
Please post a good live thread when it surfaces here, and also commentary. As always, it will be interesting how our take here on Free Republic will be.

He either does what Trump wants or Trump gives him a nickname, like “Bearded Ryno” or “Washington Ryno”.

There is zero chance that Trump comes out of the meeting "changed." He's already agreed to help the GOP win the election, and to help GOP members with their races. He's always allowed others in the GOP to differ with him on policy and on legislation - he embraces the "big tent."
What he wants out of the GOP is their resources for managing a general election. he wants to be in charge of running that machine, but he's not necessarily interested in owning it. Think of it like a car or a PA system - he's the performer, he wants to use the house PA system, but when he's done with the performance, he doesn't plan to haul the PA system away. On the car example, he's just renting it.
I think most of the meeting will be meet and greet between the players who own the election machine, and the players who intend to run it. Policy negotiations come later.
Ryan is weak and has no leverage to negotiate anything with Trump. Trump needs to tell him to get out of the way.
My hope is, Speaker Ryan comes out after this meeting announcing he is retiring from government work.
Paul Ryan....if he has any brains and common sense at all, will march out of his meeting with GOP POTUS nominee, Donald J. Trump, fulling endorsing Trump, for the entire world to see. If not, I can assure you, his political career is ended!!! The GOP/Democrat establishment has it all wrong as does the entire Mainstream Media!!! End of story!!! Folks......Donald J. Trump is the “Boss Man” of the Republican Party and, Paul Ryan better fall into line...like today!!!

Fox News was showing the arrivals at the RNC in DC. Protesters out there with signs and yelling. One sign I saw briefly had Islamaphobe. Some (not necessarily Muslims) were yelling something about being here illegally.
Trump is also supposed to meet with the House leadership and the McConnell and some in the Senate later this morning.
