I think they know exactly what they are doing. They prefer Crooked Hillary, because that keeps the status quo within the party, and allows for amnesty. And they can blame Trump’s “populism” (nationalism) and discredit it in the future. They know if they come out and support Crooked Hillary their reputations and careers as professional conservatives will be ruined permanently. So they pretend to be against both, knowing they are helping her thighness become queen, er, president.
They also know that this is our one and only chance to take down the GOPe/uniparty.
There will never be another opportunity like this one.
It’s now or never.
