Not really.

The Trump-Cruz thing bothered me with all the fighting going on between the both of them and their supporters.

The hostility to Trump in the Cruz camp after March 15th with Cruz’s embrace by the GOPe actually pushed me to be a Trump voter in PA on April 26th as my previous posts show clearly.

The cause of the ranchers and farmers oppressed by the federal government that led to the standoff at the Bundy Ranch in 2014 and the Oregon Standoff early this year are serious issues discussed in this forum and I am on the side of those who protested as are many in this forum

Donald Trump’s treatment of the people on my side of the issue perhaps out of ignorance of what was going on makes for a bad looking show.

“Trump is getting frightening”

Do you really think Trump was supposed to stop everything for someone; he had no idea who he was dealing with. Maybe your friend should have just yelled FIRE !!

Have you tried to communicate with anyone in the Trump campaign? If so, has the campaign treated you badly? The man is trying to win an election for all of us.

>>>Gavin Seim has been commenting on the matter saying the way he sees it, this shows Trump has no regard for the cause of the Patriots<<<

How many causes is Trump supposed to have regard for?

Are they implying that Trump somehow recognized the People who were disrupting from the Podium and had them tossed because he knew who they were?

This is beyond idiotic.

Did they attempt a meeting or were they just being monkies at a rally?

What we have heard so far from the campaigns is for protest to end when the Oregon Standoff began in January.

We have really heard nothing since.

Cruz and Trump have both spoken about federal government excess on land controls, with Trump focusing on how it hurts housing development and Cruz more aligned with farmers and ranchers being hurt.

But what about those arrested in Oregon and jailed for protesting about the jailing of the Hammonds for a second time on the same charge, this time as ‘terrorists’ for lighting a backfire on their land?

Free the Hammonds for starters and Free The Prisoners in Oregon, too.

Trump has the power to talk about anything if he wants to and go right through the media. That’s what I see he has the ability to do.

Fired up supporters of this cause like Gavin Seim on Facebook are burning with anger because political candidates are silent on this matter and Seim says Trump is false hope, a false god for those concerned about this cause.

Oh yeah! It was a little bit frightening
Everybody was fighting
But the music was soothing,
So they all started grooving
Yeah, yeah yeah yeah!

Don’t be a-feared Mike. We’re here for you guys to help get you through the rough spots.

The Republican Establishment people always said if you disagreed with their candidate of choice you were helping the Democrats and they were as angry as you are about it.

I already voted for the same guy you support (Donald Trump) but I would like for him to deal with these matters.

You want to shove off everyone concerned about the Western lands and the federal government, the Hammonds jailing, the Bundy Ranch Standoff, the Oregon Standoff who want Trump to talk about this issue over the side??????

You must not want Donald Trump to build support towards a victory in November?

I am sympathetic to anyone fighting the Feds or heavy handed LEOS anywhere acting beyond reason

But interrupting Trumps rally was not wise or productive

Cruz lost me at Chicago....as well as prolly a third to a half of his support here

Matt Bracken dropped him that nite this I know from my oldest boy who ran to tell me as soon as he saw Matt blog it

Jeff Head had serious questions too from that moment

Two guys here I admire....

I know it’s frustrating out west ....your deal....Klamath and so forth

The Feds live to overreach and land grab

Sorry effers

Remember when you loved Rangers and they were like Cowboys with common sense and balls?

Point made — a Hillary supporter.

It was the crowd that identified Thorn and Seim as disrupters.

From the video, timestamp 0:24, Trump commented he thought it was “Bernie” people - so it’s pretty obvious he didn’t hear, much less know who the disrupters were, or what they were yelling.

wrong place/wrong time/wrong person/wrong accusation

> “... he states very clearly that he will NEVER support the turning over of land owned by the Federal Government to the States of the Private Citizen ...”

You abridged his statement. He said he would not turn over lands to states. He never mentioned anything about private citizens.

He said clearly he would not turn them over to states because he did not know what states would do with them. A lot of corruption happens at the state level.

He also said in a statement that he could have settled the Oregon protest with a simple phone call.

I listened to the audio of Lavoy Finnicum. Although I can sympathize in general with the ranchers, he was acting quite belligerent to law enforcement as in Oregon State Troopers when stopped on the road. I took away the impression that cooler heads could have done better. Videos do show he appeared to have been murdered but his belligerent attitude did not make him a sympathetic figure.

The plight of the ranchers engendered Donald Trump’s sympathy but it needed to be accompanied by a smarter attitude.

Trump talked a bit about it back in January. Although in one article he talks about how it should stay under Federal control (the Field & Stream quotes), and in another article he talks about how the Feds should loosen their grip.

It would be nice to have a good discussion on this important issue to provide input and put together a good policy rather than just some rabble-rousers shouting at him as he is trying to give a speech.

I don’t understand why anyone has a problem with the people disrupting the rakky being tossed?

No one has the right to disrupt what was actually a paid for venue (by Trump) so he could voice his thoughts to his followers. It makes no difference if the disrupter is a Liberal, republican, Conservative or the member of any other group. Wrong is wrong and throwing them out is ok by me.

Trump is the one who has been listening to people and giving their causes support during his campaign. It makes me wonder about their intentions.

Why not do the protest from outside of the building? This guy is TRYING to look like a disruptive Bernie supporter?

How do you win someone over by doing this at their campaign event?
