What "hostile takeover"?! Enough people voted for him, to lead, that is called winning.

Most Republicans are not "jittery", but are enthusiastically supporting him.

The few "jittery" ones should wake up and smell a Hillary presidency, get over themselves and support Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee.

The only ‘jittery’ ones are the ones that have gone over to Hillary’s side, The Bushes/Romneys/Glen Beck/Mark Levin/Rush Limbaugh and others...

The majority of American Voters that have put Trump where he is are fine with this...

This is OUR Country, it belongs to the people of the United States, not the GOVERNMENT OR ANY ONE THAT RUNS IT!!!

The only ones that are jittery are the ones who are proven cowards (bought and paid for by K Street), and the ones making big bucks out of the current corrupt system.

Republicans RINOs jittery over Trump's takeover"

There! Fixed it.

Note that Republicans became extinct several generations ago, RINOs being nothing more than the conservative front-end for the corrupt Washington cartel.

A hostile takeover of one of America's two major political parties.

You fool! That is exactly what the "progressives" did for Obama so he could "transform" America into a sixth-rate economy and a minor military power with no allies and a ruined educational system.

GOP Rino’s are jittery because they thought this charade of representation where they ignore their constituents would continue with Jeb.

I got “jittery” for the two years between elections wondering what next the Republicans were going to surrender to the Democrats while looking for “battles” to pick and chose from and never finding any to “fight”.

What hostile takeover

Isn't that something else? After being repudiated by their own political party, the backstabbing globalist elite had a scheme to steal the nomination on the second or third (or whatever it took) ballot. They were going to do it with Trojan Horse delegates. And We The Voters are doing a hostile takeover??

I wish Ryan, Cruz, Romney, the Bushes etc would just LEAVE before they make even bigger *sses of themselves.

I think hostile takeover is exactly correct, given the reluctance of the status quo to reach any kind of friendly accommodation. Trump has basically hijacked what was a dying and directionless Republican Party, injected new energy and used the media’s credit card to keep it fueled, and after he has driven it across the finish line it will look nothing like the broken down hunk of junk that would have choked and sputtered to defeat and into the ditch with Jeb! at the wheel.

Hostile takeover?

Paul Ryan tried to talk down to Trump by telling him he had “inherited” a very special position, as leader of the Party.

Trump’s reply: “Wrong. I didn’t inherit anything. I WON it with millions of voters!”

Game, set, and TRUMP!

Trump succeeded in establishing a third party within the structure of the Republican Party. Probably the best thing that has happened to the party since Reagan.

Trump has also showed "The People" how little control we have had over the choice of nominees....until now.

The Party will grow stronger under "We, the People"...if the "powers" let it.

Be wise!

It’s not a hostile takeover, it’s a shareholder revolt, if you are using corporate metaphors.

I guess that whole “give the party base the finger repeatedly” strategy didn’t work out too well for them. Morons. Can’t wait to see Ryan walk the plank.

Since he’s won several big, closed primaries, it’s obviously not a hostile “takeover” of the party, it’s a repossession by those who it originally belonged to.
