So the Washington Post deftly sidesteps being dead wrong on Trump being able to win the GOP nomination because, “We had our reasons”. Yes, and there were reasons the WP ignored indicating he might be a very strong candidate.

I shouldn't still, after all these years, be astonished at the stupidity of the mainstream media, but I am. They still just cannot grasp that Donald Trump is a businessman, not a politician. He doesn't play by the politician rules. I hope Trump is the vanguard of a day when our leaders are no longer politicians and lawyers but businessmen, plumbers, chefs, steelworkers, bricklayers, teachers, taxi drivers, bar bouncers, farmers, insurance agents ... The list is endless.

The Founders never intended this free country to be the exclusive club of lawyers and professional politicians.
