Jim Robinson has written several excellent posts outlining Trumps conservatism. They are an excellent antidote to TDS and are recommended to any suffering lingering Cruz butthurt.
Trade and immigration are the only issues the nevertrump people have with Trump. They can’t come out and say it, so they just sluff it off with “he’s not conservative”.
To his website and read the portions issues and statements. What litmus test is there to being a conservative? Then look at the job that the GOP elites have given us. Trump is more conservative than 90% of them.
Got that backwards. The base is with Trump. Without the base the “party” is an empty suit. The party better start listening to its base AND Trump.
