Catholics make up the majority in pro-life organizations, but they do not constitute a majority in the Church. I went to Catholic school, and know about their (socialist) politics and their support of the Democrats which equates to supporting abortion.

You are wrong. Even most democrats do not support abortion. Their leaders do, but the rank and file do not. And in 70 years I’ve never met a Catholic that supported abortion, though I’m sure a few do. Those few have no business calling themselves Catholic. As a mater of fact, they excommunicate themselves if they do...
That is the lie that Catholics use to excuse their material support of the party that kills babies. All Democrats support abortion— so do most Republicans. There has not been one Democrat pro-life initiative ever. They vote in lock-step with the party to advance abortion at every chance, so all their lies to the contrary mean nothing.
I respect the Catholic Church for their pro-life stance, but it carries about as much weight as the prohibition on birth control for many Catholics. And the church hasn’t excommunicated one of the so-called Catholic Democrat leaders despite their public support of abortion.
