No dynamic better embodies the internal conflict roiling the Republican Party today than the squeeze Trump is putting on McCain, the original independent and maverick of the party. On a larger scale, nobody has been a more consistent voice on American foreign policy for the GOP than McCain, whose views on conflict, diplomacy, and America's role in the world Trump has largely rejected.
In McCain's home state of Arizona, the latest Rocky Mountain Poll shows Kirkpatrick tied with McCain at 42 percent, with 16 percent of voters still undecided. But the same poll shows the biggest hurdle between McCain and a sixth Senate term may be the ticket he's running on, if Trump is at the top of it: Incredibly, Trump loses the red state to Hillary Clinton by seven points, just four years after Mitt Romney won the state by eight points for Republicans.
Everything McCain has to do to win re-election is made more difficult by Donald Trump. He has to protect his left flank among women and Latinos, which made up 17 percent of the electorate in 2012 and are expected to be up to 21 to 22 percent of the vote in 2016.
But McCain also can't afford to ignore Trump and his supporters to his right. Not only does McCain have a primary to get through in August, he's losing an unusual share of Republicans, 27 percent, to Kirkpatrick, who is winning the state's rural vote at the moment.

BING CROSBY
“Don’t Fence Me In”
Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above
Don’t fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
Don’t fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin’ breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
Don’t fence me in
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise
I want to ride to the ridge where the West commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can’t look at hobbles and I can’t stand fences
Don’t fence me in
Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies
Don’t fence me in
Let me ride through the wide country that I love
Don’t fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin’ breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
Don’t fence me in
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise
I want to ride to the ridge where the West commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can’t look at hobbles and I can’t stand fences
Don’t fence me in, no
Pop, oh don’t you fence me in
Trump is fencing him in and McCain is paying for it
Fence him in, then put his butt “out to pasture”.....

LOL. Good one!
I am not a peace-at-any-coster, nor am I against our projecting power to defend ourselves, our princples, interests, and our genuine allies. BUT there IS such a thing as a War-Monger.... someone who goes around yapping to create new wars where we have no particular national interest and no identifiable allies, either.
McCain has been doing this...like a loose cannon (pun intended)
and I, for one, would love to see him RETIRED ... ASAP!
He is, quite simply, both demented and dangerous.
And now it is clear why he spent 2008 assuring us we could vote for Obama how wonderful or smart or ‘loyal’ Obama supposedly was.... instead of waging a real run for the presidency himself. Obama has created more (illegal) wars and bloodshed (trying to build up his IslamoNazi murder gang thugs and dictators) more wars and “destabilizations” and undercutting of our American defenses and those of our allies....than any president in our history, I believe.
Just like McCain keeps saying he wants...
“the original independent and maverick of the party.”

Oh barf.
Yeah Juan, Where’s the FENCE?
however Mr Trump does now, I sure hope he can retire McCain!
Fitting end to a national disgrace.
“nobody has been a more consistent voice on American foreign policy for the GOP than McCain”
That explains a lot of the idiocy we have been engaged in.
At least someone recognizes that the insurgents are to the right of the establishment.
If the old fart turned Palin loose maybe he would’ve had a chance. But he didn’t lose his job so f him. Song bird.

Republican In Name Only?
Really?
How about REPUBLICAN?
That’s the REAL evil.
That’s the REAL treachery.
Every REPUBLICAN who PRETENDS to be a conservative is a lyin’ POS.
And not a lyin’ POS in name only, but actually, and really a lyin’ POS.
A whole bunch of REPUBLICANS have to be run out of the REPUBLICAN party. Too bad it can’t be tarred and feathered on a rail.
This was put in to make up for the States that Hillary is going to lose, typical MSM narrative.
