Justice Department program to no longer use ‘disparaging’ terms ‘felons’ and ‘convicts’

The Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs is eschewing the terms “felon” and “convict” when officials refer to individuals convicted of crimes, opting instead for less “disparaging labels,” Assistant Attorney General Karol Mason announced Wednesday. The Office of Justice Programs plans to substitute terminology such as “person who committed a crime” and “individual who was incarcerated” in speeches and other communications as part of an effort to remove barriers that officials say hinder progress of those who re-enter society after completing their prison sentences. “I have come to believe that we have a responsibility to reduce not only the physical but also the psychological barriers to reintegration,” Ms. Mason wrote Wednesday in a guest post for The Washington Post. “The labels we affix to those who have served time can drain their sense of self-worth and perpetuate a cycle of crime, the very thing reentry programs are designed to prevent.”

I guarantee you the term “gun felon” will remain in their lexicon.

Because they're just like the rest of us.
Well, it's true in Washington anyway.

A long time ago, when I worked at Yale University, I was written up with a very formal “you’re almost fired” sort of disciplinary act because I described a student as “oriental”.

Now, many years later, I’m not written up (Because I own the business) but I was sternly corrected to no longer use the term “Skip” or “Fugitive” and instead report as “defendants” and “Defendants on the run”

I used to call them “skips” and “Potential skips” just as a PC joke. But my joke doesn’t go as far as reality I guess.

They should replace the terms with “Senator,” and other polite society honorifics.

In lieu of “prisoners”, the next new term will likely be “non-voluntary guests.”

I wholeheartedly endorse replacing “felon” and “convict” with “Democrat Voter”.

President Trump is going to have a task much like Hercules cleaning out the Augean stables when he is inaugurated! This bunch needs to be removed and cleaned out.

God help us hold this thing together long enough to have this one more peaceful transfer of power!

Why even send them to prison in the first place? It might hurt heir feelings- They might feel stigmatized- they might get depressed- Better to just say “Tsk Tsk” and let them go- On second thought, we shouldn’t even say that- they might take offense to it- Better to hand them money- high five em- and remove all security measures we have inplace to prevent crimes from happening- so they don;t have to work so hard committing crimes- we wouldn’t want them to become exhausted committing crimes now would we?

The Cultural Marxists knew what Wittgenstein stated in 1900-—and Eddy Bernays used to actually FLIP 2000 years of Christian Ethics to Satanism.

The Left knows that the control of Words (Language) will control concepts and desires of the masses and why they took total control of information/schools and universities/publicshing companies and magazines and mainline “churches” by 1930. (CIA created the Feminist movement/Gloria Steinam and MS magazine for mind control-—esp of little girls (to determine Marxism-—hate of males and self (body/God’s Design)..

Hitler studies Eddy Bernays book of 1915 or so-—”Propaganda.”

Our “skools” were taken over by Fichte/Wundt/Pavlovian Marxists in 1930 and textbooks were rewritten and forced a “marxist, immoral, irrational worldview in the masses.”.

Lies and Misinformation is ALL that Common Core “teaches” which deliberately DESTROYS critical thinking and virtue formation in ALL CHILDREN. It will collapse civil society and create dependent slaves for the State.

There is no “critical thinking” without Classical Christian Curricula-—which created the Age of Reason and Minds of Newton and Tesla. Only Christianity embraced Free Will (choice) and Individualism (thinking outside the box). AND IS WHY the Postmodernist/Progressives/Marxists needed to “kill God”-—destroy the Christian Worldview in children to make “group” (collective” (non) thinkers for the totalitarian Orwellian State..

I was at a concert twenty years ago when the artist (forgotten) talked about a friend who had “undergone a prison experience.” I guess like a con.
