State Dept. to Withhold Docs Related to Clinton E-Mail Security Until After Election
Law Newz ^ | May 5, 2016 | Chris White

The State Department on Tuesday notified Vice News that it will not release documents responsive to the news outlet’s FOIA requests related to the security of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail server until after the November election.

According to Vice News reporter Jason Koebler, soon after news broke of Clinton’s use of a private e-mail for State Department business, he filed a FOIA request with the State Department seeking “communications, presentations, and procedures created by the State Department to secure Hillary Clinton’s email from electronic threats.”

In his new report released on Thursday, Koebler describes how despite several promises from the State Department over the course of the past year to expedite the process, he is still waiting for responses about what procedures the State Department created to help keep Clinton’s e-mails and private server secure. Then, on Tuesday, Koebler received an e-mail update from the State Department regarding to “outgoing processing of his request” that informed him the estimated competition date had been stretched out again, until at least December 2016 — one month after the election.

No Hillary security documents until after election?? The State Department is protecting her and any of her lackeys from the bright light of disclosure until she wins when it can be buried forever. Of course, Donald Trump may have something to say about that.

That’s obstruction of justice. There’s no legal justification for doing this.

In an alternate Universe, the Congress
(which cares about America) did not take this
from their banks and whorehouses, but
brought the State Dept in front of them
and arrested several for treason.

In this Universe, the “US” Congress will continue
to support al Qaeda and the UN and every terrorist
they can ... over the American People’s choice.

The docs will be destroyed if they haven’t been already.

Withholding documents related to Hillary's email security until after the election is a direct threat to the security of the USA. Not that any demoncrat cares.

Criminals running the FBI would be a vast improvement.

That way president Hillary can pardon herself and direct her Injustice Department to
persecute and prosecute anyone who tried to gather the real facts about her criminality.

How is not releasing documents to a reporter obstruction of justice? It was a reporter they’re saying has to wait for documents.

I get your point ... it’s just not obstruction of justice.

Of course they are obstructing justice. I don’t think it really matters though when it comes to indicting Clinton. They probably have enough evidence to send her to prison. It is all political now for the DOJ.
I am looking forward though to the FBI leaking damaging info.....drip,drip,drip.

I’m sure the MSM would be just fine with this if a Republican-run State Department had made such an announcement about a Republican former Secretary of State who was now a candidate for President.
