Archbishop of Cologne: “Whoever Says ‘Yes’ to Church Towers Must Also Say ‘Yes’ to Minarets”

Archbishop of Cologne: “Whoever Says ‘Yes’ to Church Towers Must Also Say ‘Yes’ to Minarets”

And what real difference is there, anyway?

The Cardinal Archbishop of Cologne, Rainer Maria Woelki, is alarmed. Not by jihad terrorism in Paris and Brussels, or by the Muslim migrants who committed mass rapes and sexual assaults in his city last New Year’s Eve, but by the growing opposition to the Islamization of Europe. He had harsh words for Beatrix von Storch, the deputy leader of Germany’s new anti-Islamization party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), who said quite correctly that “Islam is in itself a political ideology that is not compatible with the constitution.” Woelki insisted on the contrary that “the religion of Islam is compatible with the German constitution just as Judaism or Christianity are.” He also said that “whoever says ‘yes’ to church towers must also say ‘yes’ to minarets.”

How wonderful and broad-minded and forward thinking. Woelki reflects the thinking of Pope Francis, and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and all decent folk.

There’s just one problem: the Qur’an is specifically hostile to Christianity in a way that Christianity is not toward Islam. A sampling:

Christians have forgotten part of the divine revelations they received: “From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.” — Qur’an 5:14

Jesus is not the Son of God and the Trinity a false doctrine: “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three” – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.” — Qur’an 4:171

“It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.” — Qur’an 19:35

Those who believe that Jesus is God’s Son are under the curse of Allah: “The Jews call ‘Uzair [Ezra] a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! ” — Qur’an 9:30

Jesus was not crucified: “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.” — Qur’an 4:157

Muslims must wage war against and subjugate Christians: “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” — Qur’an 9:29

What’s more, the statement that “Islam is in itself a political ideology that is not compatible with the constitution” is one that many Muslim leaders would proudly affirm. Woelki, and the Catholic hierarchy in general, are aiding and abetting the destruction of the free world.

Meanwhile, to say “Whoever says ‘yes’ to church towers must also say ‘yes’ to minarets” is just asinine. “Whoever says ‘yes’ to Merkel must also say ‘yes’ to Hitler.” “Whoever says ‘yes’ to peace must also say ‘yes’ to war.” “Whoever roots for the Yankees must also root for the Red Sox.” “Whoever roots for Manchester United must also root for Arsenal.” “Whoever roots for Real Madrid must also root for Barcelona.” “Whoever welcomes freedom must also welcome slavery.” “Whoever loves knowledge must also love ignorance.” “Whoever lives in Berlin must also live in Munich.”

One more: “Whoever says ‘yes’ to Muslims must also say ‘yes’ to Jews” — well, the illustrious Woelki probably wouldn’t go for that last one. Neither does the new Europe.

Would Jesus Christ say “yes” to minarets and the false prophet Mohammed? Absolutely not.

Biologically it’s a female.

That’s problem number one.

Problem number two is that it is almost unquestionably a lesbian.

Such a person has no authority in the church and needs the Salvation of Jesus Christ before even being considered a member.

Is he saying the same thing to the Saudis (that they must allow church towers)?

What a tool...

The archbishop needs a good lesson in reality and discernment. If he reads his bible he should know that people’s fruits identify who they are. God told the Israelitess not to allow certain people to live among them because they were evil..he even told the Israelites to kill them because of how they would influence their culture and bring idol worship and bring evil to their doorsteps. Surely the archbishop has read his bible and understands this or he is pandering.

The Catholic Chirch seems to be aiding and abetting the forces of evil at every turn the last few years. And its role seems to fit the description of the harlot in Revelation.

Hey, Archbishop, have you been to the Vatican lately and seen the security measures set up for visitors? Do you think the minaret folks are saying yes to church towers?

Time for a new Archbishop.

Islam is not a religion, and never has been.

We have to stop treating it as such.

This demonization will work and the new AfD party will be defeated, just as LePen’s party was defeated, by a coalition of left and centrists. Call it the #NeverWhite or #NeverChristian movement.

I think that William Federer has the right idea, he describes Islam as a religion, military, and political entity with all three integral to it. Sounds like a diabolical trinity of sorts.

They have become the Islamic version of the Communists’ “Useful Idiots”.

Islam is NOT, in the strictest sense, a religion, it is an ideology, similar in many ways to the writings of Karl Marx. Marx differed sharply, though, in the inclusion of the trappings of a religion with his ideology. Religion was part of the oppression of the proletariat. Islam, on the other hand, has embraced the thought that divine power can justify the taking over of individual initiative. It is all “Kismet”. Kismet as your lot in life, or your fate.

Some are meant to be the ones in control, and the rest of humanity is essentially their vassals or mere chattel, warm bodies that may be traded back and forth freely among the elite, or disposed of if they proved to be “inconvenient”.

In fact, the strict application of the harsher measures in the Koran justify the denial of democratic thought, or personal initiative, or taking of rewards from the marketplace, unless those rewards were turned over to the greater purpose of expanding the sphere of influence of the doctrines of the ideology.

Christianity differs in that once the theologians got the curliques combed out of their thinking, it became OK for personal initiative to be rewarded, and for thought to range freely outside proscribed limits, leading to the greatest growth of technological advance the world has ever seen, and the spread of general prosperity to extend to people on every level.

France and the American colonies had their revolutions against the despotic rule of hereditary kings, but with two very different outcomes. The American revolution embraced the concept of a religious state of grace for all, not just the elite few, and wove that into their founding documents, with references to “the Creator”. The French, on the other hand, renounced all religious authority, considering it to be a part and parcel with royal rule, and clerics were treated as severely as royalty in the revolution. While the impulses were similar, the Americans acknowledged that there was a divine element, and the French did not, relying entirely on the power of “human reason”.

Human reason, in and of itself, is soon subject to vast error, ignoring lessons of the past so painfully built up through the eons, and written into the collective wisdom of ethical religion practice. There is a reason that humans should not go to emotional and orgastic excesses, and then use that as their excuse for some very basic perversions. Ethical religious practice seeks to curb that enthusiasm, and for the most part, has been quite successful in setting mankind on the road to greater and greater triumphs in logical thinking and general prosperity.

But there are some who cannot stand either the discipline of critical thinking, nor the prosperity that results from application of this discipline. They rebel, either by rewriting the rules as set down in the ethical religions, or ignoring them altogether.

“Mosaic law”, otherwise known as the Decalogue or the Ten Commandments, distill to a very few words the ethical application of divine spirit, and this is further refined in something from the New Testament, called the “Golden Rule”. Neither of these sets of principles exists in the Koran, and the practice of Islam denies any other sources of religious authority. The claims that the Koran is derived from the Abrahamic traditions falls apart, when just about everything after Abraham’s call to sacrifice his son on the altar to the grace of God, gets the whole narrative twisted into Ishmael being the favored son, rather than Isaac. Without Isaac, the whole tradition of Moses just never appears in the context of the Koran, and is simply denied, nor does the birth, life, death and ascension of Christ play any part.

In an obvious cribbing from the New Testament, with which Mohammed Ali had to have some familiarity with when the sections of the Koran were written, The Prophet was supposed to have ascended into Paradise, oddly enough, from almost the same place that Christ had ascended almost seven centuries earlier, near where the Temple of the Mount had been located. The land in and around the Temple Mount was expropriated by the warring and howling mob of “holy warriors” of Islam, and declared to be THEIR holy site, which could no longer be violated by the Jews or the Christians.

Something similar has happened in just about every region of the world where the Islamic Jihadists have swept in, subjugating the local population and forcing three choices - whether to become a Muslim and convert wholeheartedly to Islam, or keep your inferior religion, but pay an annual fine or tax or tribute, whatever, for the privilege, but also acknowledge that the god Allah reigns supreme, and submit to his ruling authority, or if the first or second options do not appeal, then summary execution on the spot. Other existing houses of worship are then expropriated and converted into mosques, which exist for the multiple purposes of being indoctrination centers, barracks for the next wave of holy warriors, and as armories to hold all these weapons of war.

The Cathedral of Notre Dame, in Paris, would make a most excellent mosque when the dust settles. Just as the Hagia Sophia in Instanbul already is.
