I think the internet age has taken a toll on what used to be an obviously necessary virtue: patience.
When we had to go to libraries and send snail mail and wait for people to become available for discussion, etc., the need for patience was built into the system.
Now, activism is as easy as tappety tappety tap tap bam. And with its ease has come a sad cheapness.
I think this might be the ‘bad’ tea party. There are two.
And frankly this is something that is causing me to want to moderate my involvement in FR, which I knew for a long time I needed to do, but now I know why. It’s like a trip that leads rapidly nowhere, maybe 80% of the time. It’s like telling time by the second hand of the clock. It’s become sound and fury, signifying little (though not quite nothing).
Probably more like a plethora of splinters. There’s Lipton, then there’s Tetley, then there’s Celestial Seasonings, etc...

I need to either step away from the aggravation now and then, or decide that I'm going to take some kind of action to oppose the decline. But to simply sit hour after hour and read about how our nation is falling to pieces is too tragic for me to endure.

LAW enforcement arrests citizens in violation of a LAW.
A judge in pre-trial council will require the prosecution to present what LAW has been broken by the defendant. After judge laughs the prosecution out of chambers he may file misconduct papers to the BAR on the prosecutor for wasting his time and LAW enforcement resources.

Avoiding unnecessary foreign entanglements
and opposing our enemies
is not conservative.

The teaparty.org website has been a thorn in the side of the real Tea Party for years.
It has nothing to do with them. This guy was just lucky enough to get the domain name before anyone else did.
Five years ago, when the real Tea Party was fighting against Obama, ObamaCare, and all his corrupt policies, liberals would point their fingers at this nut case as though he actually represented the movement.
Getting the domain name PresidentOfTheWorld.org doesn’t make you president of the world.
