Cruz wins majority of delegates at Virginia convention
Fox News ^ | Apr. 30, 2016 | AP

Cruz supporters won 10 of the 13 at-large delegates elected Saturday at the Republican Party of Virginia's statewide convention at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump won the other three.

Cruz's victory will only matter if he can block Trump from clinching the nomination before the national convention in July. Virginia delegates will only be free to support whomever they choose after the first round of voting at the national convention.

These were only the "at large delegates" and finally the article gets around to pointing out that this will only matter if Trump won't reach the magic 1237 on the first ballot, but I think he will. This is just more propaganda to encourage Cruz voters to turn out and vote in the still upcoming primaries.

Fox trumpeting on about Cruz...Cruz...Cruz. I just don’t turn them on any more. And I doubt they will ever go after Hitlery in any meaningful way...like they have Trump.

Cruz's victory will only matter if he can block Trump from clinching the nomination before the national convention in July.

Cruz's victory WILL NOT MATTER no matter what. Because if Trump gets the nomination on the first ballot, Cruz will look like just a crafty, spoiled child. And if Trump is denied the nomination, I and many others will NOT vote GOP on election day.

And then again Cruz will look like just a crafty, spoiled child.

I am actually amazed that I once thought Ted Cruz was a good guy. Now, if Cruz somehow gets the nomination, I will vote Libertarian, or Whig, or whatever else is on the ballot.

Once again, it tends to show that the delegate selection process bears little if any relation to the desire of the voters. Trump won this state easily, Cruz finished third, and received 1/2 as many votes as Trump.
So, again we have a seemingly rigged system, where the will of the voters
is subordinated. Smell test failed.

The ship that sank was the RMS Olympic, deliberately sunk, switched one weekend with its sister ship Titanic which was renamed and sailed many years until being scrapped in 1935.

This would only matter if Trump doesnt get to 1237. It looks like Trump will reach that and more. This is propaganda designed to keep Cruz in the race to try and stop Trump. Virginia will have 49 delegates at the convention. Right now Cruz has done well in Virginia, but most of the delehates haent been chosen yet. The media is misleading people, acting like this is a bigger deal than it is.

Judge Jeannie is quite good...otherwise...don’t think it’s worth watching FOX globalist propaganda anymore. Wonder how long Jeannie will last now that Andrea is gone?

We would like for them to be Trump delegates, to safe guard against the establishment. Keep working.

As things stand right now, I don’t think Trump and Cruz can work together.

Even if Trump has the personality to tolerate Cruz, like Reagan picking first Bush, Cruz is the one who burned the bridge so to speak, picking Carly.

NOT GOOD. AT ALL.

“Wonder how long Jeannie will last now that Andrea is gone?”

Why would Andrea’s dismissal be related to the judge?
