Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said Thursday that recalcitrant countries that refuse to take criminal aliens that are being deported should not get federal aid from the U.S. and the U.S. should not give those countries more visas.
They should not be getting federal aid, and we shouldnt be giving them visas so that more people from those countries can come to the United States, said Chaffetz during a hearing on illegal immigration crime.
Yep. Seems like USA should get something for the money. Even if nothing ever becomes of this, the topic of American leadership and influence becomes open for discussion.
This guy is doing hard work on our behalf. His grilling of the DHS stooges was brutal. Unfortunately nothing will be done about all this until the communist in chief is gone.
This proposal has way too much common sense for the current administration to consider passing it.
For the rest of us normal people, our response is more, “duh, why haven’t we been doing this already and the decades prior?”
It is already in our laws,we just have refused to use the leverage. Cut off visa to the Chinese until they take back their citizens. That will cause everything from Disneyland to colleges to complain.
How about we don’t take them in to begin with?
Lets help these criminal illegal aliens re-enter their countries illegally.
Chaffetz is 100% right and the US Senate should force the issue.
And they scream “Sex sex sex” as they invade Austria. Read the story this morning but can’t find the link. Sorry.

Here is the article on the Austrian sex attack.
so when is congress going to get off the duff and ACT.......
You are absolutely right its been the law for a century. The problem is the State Department is full of half whit progressives. The entire department needs to be fired.
Just give them a few bucks in their local currency and drop them from a plan-with or without a parachute.
It is already the law that countries that refuse to take back their deported citizens will no longer have US visas issued to their citizens. We just have not enforced the law.
Wrong. It is up to the President to enforce our laws. The State Department acts on his directives. Obama has prevented enforcement of the law.
FYI: I worked for the State Department as an FSO for 28 years.
What I have asked myself almost every day for the past 10 months is “Where the hell have these politicians been for the past 30 years?”. I have said this as I’ve watched politicians from both parties vilify and lambaste Trump, all the while stealing and co-opting the ideas that he alone was courageous enough to propose and articulate. It is solely due to Trump that the gutless scumbags in the UniParty are now bloviating false concern about such things as illegal aliens, middle class economic disparity, unequal trade treaties, catastrophic foreign policy, and on and on. Practically every politician in office today needs to be kicked out on their asses. And Trump is just the man to orchestrate such a thing. Which is why the entrenched political class is pulling out all the stops to defeat him. Trump 2016!
FYI: ICE is the agency that deports illegal aliens, not the State Department, which just issues visas to foreign citizens to enter the country.
If denying visas to countries that won’t accept deportees isn’t effective after a year, we can gift wrap the perp in a shipping crate and airlift him back to his country of origin with a parachute drop.
Then deduct the cost from any foreign aid packages that may still be in effect.
Adulthood. It’s about being accountable.
Its the same strategy the feds use to bully the states to make the speed limit 55, take French fries from school lunches, and so on. They know it works...
democrats and republicans are too busy begging for money: Did you know that your senators and congresspeople; Republican or Democrat, are required to spend 20 to 30 hours per week calling people for donations rather than working for the American people? Here it is, as seen on 60 Minutes H.R. 4443: Stop Act govtrack.us/congress/bills/114/hr4443 Here is a Summaries for the Stop Act govtrack.us/congress/bills/114/hr4443/summary?utm_campaign=govtrack_feed&utm_source=govtrack/feed&utm_medium=rss# it was introduced by Rep. David Jolly (R-FL13). Since senators and congress people cannot use their office telephones for calling for donations, they leave the property to make those telephone calls. Sure they are working hard to meet quotas, just not working hard to serve the American people.
