Christian Conservative speaks out against Ted Cruz

I find Ted Cruz dishonest and manipulative in this race. His Christian roots untraceable and his rhetoric unstable. Donald Trump may not always meet the mark as politically correct conservative but he owns his beliefs unlike Cruz that speaks what he doesn't seem to live. His wife drinks, they do not tithe, he has questionable relationships with young women he works with, he claims to all of us in Texas to be committed to representing Texas and fighting for our voice in Washington just to decide he was not called to be a senator but President in the middle of the job and leaves his post to run for another office leaving us voiceless and the job he committed to do unmanned.

God has historically used men and women that the people would not have necessarily have chosen to represent him. We have spent the last 18 months or so in prayer around the country in prayer groups praying for Gods man, Mr. Trump is that man, get on or get out of the way but God will have a man and we will be restored with or without your approval. Ted Cruz has a job he needs to get back to it and allow those that have been called to areas he is not get to theirs and stop all this strife in the body.

I don’t recall any of them being raped

But that is the singular case we are arguing about here.

I see no reason why a victim has any responsibility other than not to harm an innocent person.

So whose responsibility is this baby's life, since it is not the victim's?

I guess you’ve never heard of adoption?

“But that is the singular case we are arguing about here.”

It was. But if I have helped everyone else who has asked - and I have helped even those who didn’t - yet I have known no one who was pregnant after rape (such an occurrence is relatively rare in the first world accounting for less than 2% of all abortions in the U.S.) - then I said what had to be said.

“So whose responsibility is this baby’s life, since it is not the victim’s?”

Your question makes no sense. No one chose - not father nor mother - to create a baby, but once the baby exists no one has the right to murder it.

You support baby killing. I don’t. Ever. It’s just that simple.

People who support baby killing - as AndyJackson does - would probably rather see a baby die than be given away.

Agree. People like that need prayers. They are northern conservative nor pro-life. Instead, they believe in eugenics which is a profound evil. It’s a shame they don’t see the error of their ways

You find it "reprehensible" that Donald Trump does not believe that you should basically sacrifice the happiness of an innocent girl who has been raped, by forcing her to carry the rapist's child? Well, your fanatical approach is what destroyed two otherwise Conservative Senatorial candidates in the previous Federal election cycle. It is also the sort of myopia that turns off millions of people, and makes it more difficult for those of us who want to get the Federal Courts out of the abortion promotion business, to actually succeed.

Now I am not usually arguing for pragmatism over principle. Generally there is no real dichotomy there; nor is there one here, if you simply look at the interests of a completely innocent mother, as well as that of the unborn baby. (And, of course it would be very wrong to postpone the decision, even after a rape--so please do not attribute such to Donald Trump, as that is clearly not something he is proposing.)

Do not attribute one issue fanaticism to "social Conservatism." True social conservatives have always sought to protect innocent femininity.

Of course, I agree with you points!

Anyone who is truly a Believer, and a small government, Constitutional Conservative, would not be falling for Donald’s shtick. We’ve gone from electing a community agitator, to considering a progressive reality TV star as a viable candidate. God help America.

Anyone who is truly a Believer, and supports U.S. NATURAL BORN CITIZEN candidates for President, does not support currency manipulation, does not support a 500% increase in visas, wants to deport illegals, and wants to build a wall to protect its citizens, would not be falling for Cruz’s shtick! We’ve gone from electing a community agitator, to considering a false conservative who is NOT the “face of God!” God help America.

“When did God leave a will naming you as judge of others? “

Exactly! But there are a bunch of people who spend too much time in church and not enough time visiting with reality who see the election of our next president as some sort or religious “war” or “litmus test of their theology.” Thankfully, most people have enough balance in their lives to put their religious views in their proper place in this process. It’s not a resurrection, it’s an election!

“It’s a shame they don’t see the error of their ways”

Like a previous poster posited, “who died and made you g-d?” What gives you any right at all to talk about “the error of anyone else’s ways?” Just because you have one particular way of thinking doesn’t make it “right.” And for what it’s worth, I’d opt for having a chilld conceived in rape, but I realize that others may not see it that way and I’m not going to presume to force my views on anyone else.
And BTW, sCruse is still a POS irrespective of this nonsense, and so is his new “sidekick,” K-sick! The ONLY way forward now is with Trump. If the GOPe is successful in derailing Trump’s nomination, you can say hello to President Clinton the Second!

IMO, sitting in church doesn’t make one worthy. It’s how they live their lives 24/7 that shows us what they are. Holding a bible up and telling everyone else how to live all the while excusing themselves makes them hypocrites. The ugliness on FR by those who pretend to be religious is quite telling, ya think?

You weren’t here in 2012. How do you know who supported who? And does that mean you’re a retread?
