The “true colors” of being prepared to do battle and fighting with all of his resources? The “true colors” of keeping his positions true in every state and not changing them to accomodate whether a state is red or blue? The “true colors” of inspiring delegates to support him? I think he meant Cruz’s “true colors” of repeatedly telling voters to go screw themselves, while for his own aggrandizement he uses every trick in the book to try to circumvent their will and put his people in contrary to the way a state or congressional district voted.
It’s amazing how much scorn the Cruz supporters have suddenly developed for regular GOP voters and anyone who defends them, as well as how strongly they now praise and continually cite unprincipled “rules” designed to keep the establishment in control over the public. Not everyone is happy about Cruz’s win by any means strategy.
