Racoons in the basement or attic is a BIG problem all over N.Y. and even in the cities. THERE IS NOTHING AT ALL "RACIST" in that remark!

Some moronic people see "racism" everywhere and in everything; they are the ones who have the PROBLEM!

Do the coons eat the roaches? (This being New Yawk, there must be no shortage of scurrying roaches!)

WTF is this new round of idiocy?

Not that anyone cares, but nobody in the hills even says “raccoon”.

You have coons in the barn/garden/trash.

Only a total paranoid froot loop would see racism, there.

Unless, of course, they were feverishly ~looking~ for it.

*sigh*

The ZOT was insufficient, apparently.

Are those offended claiming Raccoons in the basement means blacks in the basement? Makes no sense, someone is trying to find a fight and a way to put a wedge between Trump and blacks.

I’m a Cruz man - but yes - not sure where this is racist. A friend is a firefighter. He got called in to a house and there were three raccoons that were in the living room (from the Chimney).

Looking back he said “We should have just left the doors open I guess and they would have wandered out. But the lady was hysterical and the guys were chasing them all over trying to catch them. Stuffed chairs and the couch and the draperies were in shreds by the time we left.”

Hmm. There is probably a political metaphor in there as well. I suppose - do you want the guy that will just leave the doors open with the food waiting for them on the outside and things will take their course naturally, or the guy that will chase them all over and destroy crap.

I imagine it can be debated on which guy is which. Although obama is definitely the destroyer “Rebuild on a new foundation” means you have to take the old one out first. Hillary or Bernie will be sure to knock down a few more rows.

There is a little story going on the internet about getting the raccoons out of the basement. When I read it, I thought, that’s very clever and also very true. It’s more about who and how the raccoons are removed, rather than the raccoons. I guess when you don’t have an answer for a tough question, you just whip out the “R” card.

I rented a house with a couple of other guys outside of Boston. There was a raccoon living the attic. Didn't know what the heck it was hearing it at night, until I saw it climbing a tree next to the house.

During days of rain, we found the hole in the roof. The landlord fixed the hole and reshingled, apparently when the raccoon was not in residence.
