What a difference two weeks have made for the #NeverTrump campaign. On the night of April 5, Ted Cruz decisively won the Wisconsin primary, with Donald Trump stuck in second place in familiar 35 percent territory. At his victory event, Cruz, who took home 36 of Wisconsin's 42 delegates, declared the state a "turning point" in the race.
Cruz allies in the #NeverTrump effort were jubilant. "'Member when some said we couldn't stop @realDonaldTrump? Wrong," tweeted Katie Packer of the anti-Trump Our Principles PAC. "Congrats to all who stopped him from hijacking GOP #NeverTrump #cleveland."
Of course, Cruz and his #NeverTrump supporters well knew they were headed into a rough patch just two weeks later in New York. But in the end, it turned out to be rougher than some thought. ----------------------- Packer, too, said #NeverTrump is as determined as ever. "We fully intend to take this to the convention floor," she told Bloomberg. "I don't care how many state he wins. It's a delegate count." ---------------------- His campaign will be entirely negative to keep Trump below 1,237. In effect, every vote for Cruz will be a strategic vote.

NeverTrump can easily beget NeverGOP and they may be starting to realize that.
#SuckItUp?
Mitt seems to have gone into hiding again, just like he did before Obama cleaned his clock. Choker.
And also when he ran for POTUS.
“Byron York: What next for #NeverTrump?”
Long walks, and short piers.
Mitt is looking for his own golden tablets.
My husband asked me tonight just how many actual primaries - as opposed to caucus-type ‘primaries’ - Cruz has won. I haven’t been able to find a count. Does anyone have the numbers?
Thanks,
JT
Trump will easily beget NeverGOP in November. Unfortunatelly his supporters won’t accept that until Hillary is elected, and then they will blame the “GOPE” for the party losing instead of the fact they put a candidate on the top of the ticket that millions of Americans loathe.
Texas...and Wisconsin?
Thanks.
This is from March 2, but interesting:
Cruz has only won 4 primaries to date. The other wins have all been caucuses or conventions. Trump has won every other primary, besides Ohio.
Thank You, and my Husband thanks you, too.

These people have embarrassed themselves long enough. No that even Common Core math says Cruz is out they want him to become their Affirmative Action errand boy to fetch them a contested convention so the loathsome Mittens Romney can steal the nomination and remind the world of what good losers the Republican establishment can be. NO THANKS!
How is this different from Mitt or McCain? (Other than the fact that it is the party which dislikes Trump, and the voters that disliked Romney and McCain?)
I sense a lot of "we did it your way, and now we're going to do it our way" from the electorate in this election.
what you said.
#NeverTrump was never anything but astroturf.
