Luvvy, great job, thanks!
What's in a meatloaf? Deliciousness and warm memories of mom. Always reliable, you bring comfort, familiarity and satisfaction to those around you. Some things are a classic for a reason.
LOL, thankfully "TV" dinners taste much better than 50 years ago.
Lol! I’m doing a Harlem Renaissance unit with my 11th graders and we had a soul food day today. What a funny coincidence.
Never had em. But when I was young I had pre packed dinners that came in plain brown cardboard boxes. The beans and franks were ok. Ham and Lima beans not so much.
You are a Turkey Dinner
Tradition and family mean a great deal to you. You love Thanksgiving because it brings everyone together. Why have that warm experience just once a year? Cranberry sauce and gravy is for life, not late November.
Spot on.
My mother would never allow a frozen TV dinner in the house. It would have been sacrilege.
“Please remember that The Canteen is here to support and entertain our troops and veterans and their families, and is family friendly!”
With all due respect, and in acknowledgement of the above comment I shall refrain from stating my opinion of the products pictured.
I was more the “Don’t cook tonight, call Chicken Delight” sort.
In the 70’s I ate Libbyland Tv Dinners

Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
You are a Beans and Franks Dinner
You are a kid at heart or perhaps all over. You love superhero movies, sitcoms, sports, puppies and America. Who needs vegetables when you can have two desserts? Beans and apples kind of count.
Can't argue with most of it. They did get the 'puppies' part wrong. NO puppies! Kittehs only! LOL!
LOTS of work ahead.

Hi Luv. Sez here this week that I am ready for Deutschland, oddly enough I am wearing such a T-shirt now.
You are a German Style Dinner
You are dark, daring and inquisitive. You pepper your language with exotic vocabulary like “Spätzle” and yearn for the olden days the really olden days. Medieval times.
I love my meatloaf description, but I don’t love frozen dinner meatloaf.

Spot on--I'm a 9th generation descendant of German immigrants.
I knew it before I took the quiz...Frozen Turkey Dinner. Back then they came covered with aluminum foil. No dessert back in the old days. For some reason the turkey dinner tasted better to me then.
I used to like those Patio Mexican Dinners, at least as much as any TV dinner.
I just realized that no supermarket in this area carries them.
Have they gone out of business?

I LOVED the Swanson fried chicken dinner with the mashed potatoes and peas and carrots. When we had those as kids, we were in high cotton!!
The Patio Mexican enchilada plates were sooooo good too!
I have looked for those aluminum trays to make dinners for my in-laws but haven’t found them anywhere.
YOU ARE A SWISS STEAK DINNER
You make the everyday sound exotic. Sure, you could settle for “hamburger meat” or “Salisbury Steak” but doesn’t “Swiss Steak” just sound so much more mysterious? It even fun to say. You enjoy guilty pleasures, but balance them out with pragmatic decisions. Like “vegetables.”
It says:
Quiz: Which vintage frozen TV dinner is your soul food?
