Two black women are each seeking $4 million in damages from Victoria's Secret, claiming they were treated like criminals and ordered out of the Beverly Center store by management after a confrontation with an aggressive customer.
A lawsuit filed by Shaunda McDaniel and Tammi Robinson alleges negligence, slander, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false arrest and violations of various state codes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs went to the Victoria's Secret store, located in a predominantly white and affluent area, last June 16 for the chain's semiannual sale. They were perusing the sale items when a woman who "appeared to be white" hit and shoved McDaniel and pushed Robinson, the suit alleges.
After McDaniel requested an apology, the other customer said, "I'm saying nothing to you," according to the suit.
A manager showed up to investigate and said she would call security. The other customer continued to be rude and aggressive toward the plaintiffs while all three of them were being detained, according to the lawsuit.
Another store manager, who was white, approached without any security guards, according to the lawsuit. Having done no investigation, she assumed McDaniel and Robinson were at fault because they were black and the other customer was white, according to the complaint.

Is it possible the Democrats have trained Community Organizers in looking for and the filing of litigation in every nook and cranny?? This litigation business is getting ridiculous. It seems we have a favored class of people in the US - the blacks, when my momma taught us we were to be a colorless society.
If the scene happened as described; IF, the way these women should have acted would be to take the high road, report the incident calmly and as emotion free as possible. That’s asking a lot of women in competition shopping, regardless of race. The idea is for the ‘victim’ to first present herself to the manager as a credible source.
People make their minds up very quickly, as to whether you seem the rowdy type, or, someone worth listening to. It’s possible that all happened as described, but sometimes you have to absorb the shock, report the incident, then move on with your day. If all three women were shouting, bickering and accusing, the manager just wants to regain peace and quiet, at whatever costs. This is worth an apology, this is not worth paying out millions of dollars. No it isn’t.

This goes beyond race. Many a Christmas Season, I’ve seen grouchy, very aggressive shoppers who are focused on obtaining their trophy merchandise, be it a Cabbage Patch Kid, or (gasp!) Michael Jordan Tennis Shoes! They do not want to be interrupted or to be blocked by other shoppers.
Lol! I can just imagine the look on the cashiers’ over-rouged, over-powdered faces!
It’s surely all on video so whichever side tries to exclude video evidence is the side that should lose.
