"Let Me Ask America a Question"

:

"Mr. Cruz has no democratic path to the nomination. He has been mathematically eliminated by the voters."

"My campaign strategy is to win with the voters. Ted Cruz’s campaign strategy is to win despite them."

“Mr. Cruz has no democratic path to the nomination.”

That’s irrelevant in the US. We are NOT a democracy. For a reason. We are a constitutional republic.

Mr. Cruz DOES have a republican path to the nomination.

I love this, am going to plagiarize if it's ok.

You are under the mistaken assumption the Republican nominating process is based wholly on public votes.

That is only the case when DELEGATES are bound to the voters on the 1st round ballot at the convention.

If Trump can't get to 1237 Delegates on the 1st vote, it's game on for those delegates that are no longer bound by state rules.

Those rules are not new, been around for decades.
