Florida GOP Senate hopeful won't endorse McConnell for leader

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), a GOP Senate hopeful, has said he's not supporting Mitch McConnell (Ky.) as the leader of Senate Republicans.

“I have declined to endorse McConnell for reelection, and let’s be honest — if he lets a liberal justice onto the Supreme Court, he’s not going to be the majority leader. We know that, that’s not going to fly,” DeSantis told attendees at an April 10 forum sponsored by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Central East Florida, according to footage obtained by The Hill.

DeSantis is the real deal. Hopefully, most Republicans who will be voting in the upcoming Florida primary recognize this....at least I hope they do,.

Nope. He voted for TPA and has been squishy on social security. He started off good but now he has all the GOPe careerist alarm bells going off for me.

I already like this guy more than Rubio....he will be a great addition to the GOP from the great state of Florida...I am tired of Rino fecal material.
