This week, the Bernie Sanders revolution finally ate its own. The vultures of the hard left forced former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to sink her own carnivorous beak into the withered flesh of her titular husband, former President Bill Clinton, denouncing his key legislative achievements and relegating him to the dustbin of history.
The hubbub began after Bill Clinton ran into opposition from Black Lives Matter activists at one of his speeches. He proceeded to shred them -- accurately -- for their inane focus on supposed police brutality and criminal justice bias rather than saving actual black lives: "I don't know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them out onto the streets to murder other African-American children. Maybe you thought they were good citizens. ... You are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter. Tell the truth. You are defending the people who cause young people to go out and take guns. ... They say the welfare reform bill increased poverty. Then why did we have the largest drop in African-American poverty in history when I was president?"
All of this is true.
But for the left, truth must be discarded in favor of the narrative. And so, Clinton was raked over the coals for gainsaying the mythology of the left: that the criminal justice system penalizes innocent young black men disproportionately, that their sentences are longer than whites', and that police enforcement disproportionately targets young black men.
And Hillary Clinton, in order to stave off the onslaught of a 7,000-year-old socialist loonbag, bravely threw Bill onto a political grenade. "I have been consistently speaking out about what I would do as president," she said after Bill's implosion, "And I think it's important for people to recognize we have work to do, that there were a lot of people very scared and concerned about high crime back in the day. And now we've got to say, OK, we have to deal with the consequences. And one of the consequences is, in my view, (the) overincarceration of people who should not have been in the criminal justice system."
Never mind that Bill's decision to fight criminality resulted, at least in part, in the single greatest prolonged reduction in crime in American history. What's important is that Hillary wants to win the nomination. It doesn't matter how many young black people have to die in order for slightly older black people to vote for her.
And die they will. The murder rate is up dramatically over the past two years in cities ranging from Baltimore to New Orleans, from St. Louis to Chicago to New York. This is what happens when the mythology of police as villains destroys their capacity to act as heroes. The high crime neighborhoods are left to those who commit crime.
But Hillary Clinton doesn't care. Neither does Bernie. All that matters is continuing Democratic victory at the expense of truth and American lives.
Socialism can only proceed by murdering the people it claims to be helping.
One does not have an understanding when one finally realizes the truth about socialism - one recoils in horror.

The guy looks like he could be pushing up daisies by the end of the year, and all his family and associates seem to be worried about, is his ability to help his wife get elected.
I’m not a fan of Bill, but he deserves better than that from a woman that claims they’re still a cozy little happy family.
There’s nothing wrong with throwing Clinton over. His popularity has always been over rated, people forget he didn’t get a majority in ‘92 or ‘96. The problem was bringing him on the campaign trail in the first place.

Bill’s statement regarding the “awful legacy of the last 7 years,” is tailor made for a campaign ad. Then there is his statement about the “migrants causing major disruption in Europe,” and the Black Lies Matter quote. All great stuff. I hope they keep him out there, and that he keeps talking. Makes me wonder if he’s deliberately attempting to sabotage Hillary’s campaign.

If the Democrat Party knew what was good for it they would have thrown Bill Clinton overboard a LOOOOOONG time ago.
Two things: One, Bill just made a conservative argument more articulately than anyone else in that situation. Second, more incarceration probably saved a lot of black lives.

Comrade Bubba Clinton has spent the time since he left the white house trying to rehabilitate his legacy and image. No one, least of all the press, mentions the constant 'Bimbo Eruptions', his involvement in questionable (criminal) activities - including mysterious deaths of his enemies that were the trademarks of his regime. The Millenials, along with the typical 'Low Information' dem, aren't even aware and won't even accept the facts if you present them. His poor "leadership" and weak response on at least a half dozen incidents set the stage for 9/11.
This is the "vast experience" that Hillary now lays claim to when citing her "credentials".
As it is, the Democrats are saddled with Hillary, and Bill is far from being at the top of his game.
At this point is he anything more than a leftover or interloper or irrelevance or excrescence?

I will try and do a google search, I just remember it was a high school cheerleader that ended up in Vegas as a hooker. And his brother was at the party.

he ended up sending her to a physician of his. The physician put her on
birth control pills. He used cocaine in order to - ultimately she lost her
virginity and she got addicted to cocaine and the last I heard of her when
we had her subpoenaed backed to the Federal Grand Jury, she was a hooker
in Lake Tahoe.
Bill has always been a womanizer. His current girlfriend is nicknamed the Energizer Bunny by the Secret Service and they help make sure she and Hillary don't end up in a knock-down fight. This will all come out during the campaign if Hillary is nominated. Trump if nominated will shove it in Hillary's face publicly.
Ever notice how in interviews if it is a question she doesn't like she gets sarcastic or dismissive of the person asking? Well, that will go over like a lead balloon with the voters.
Bill is a huge liability. Bill doesn't like Obama or his policies. Hillary is playing nice to Obama in hopes he will keep her from an FBI indictment. On the other hand, Bill knows where all of Hillary's skeletons are kept and so she also needs to be nice to Bill.
