"The biggest challenge to democracy in Europe is the spread of deeply illiberal politics," details Freedom House's press release. This, as WorldViews has charted over the past year, has been very much on display in the response to an influx of refugees and migrants from Syria and other countries. Right-wing politicians, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, fanned populist flames by grandstanding over the threat of Muslim migration."
Claiming that Europe faces a Muslim invasion has become standard fare for a range of politicians and political parties in Europe, Nate Schenkkan, project director of Nations in Transit, said in a statement. "This kind of speech undermines democracy by rejecting one of its fundamental principlesequality before the law. There is a danger that this kind of hateful, paranoid speech will lead to violence against minorities and refugees."

Liberalism is clearly a disease of the mind.
If Europe wants to survive as a Western civilization, they’d better get a whole lot “Islamophobic” pretty quick.
But islame itself is good for democracy?
Really? Who? Which parties? They name Viktor Oban. He does raise the issue. Who else? Name this wide range of politicians. Which mainstream French and British politicians say it? How has it made its way into policy? And even when it comes to Orban, did the report author read what Orban says? He says Muslim immigration is an issue because they are illiberal and undermining European values. Is that not true? This report isn't worth the paper its written on.
And the Heart...
And the Soul!
islam threatens civilization wherever it rears its ugly head. Hijera is working wonders in Eurabia.
Unbelievable! These fools won't be happy until every European female is beaten and raped. Until half the cities in the continent are bombed and burned. Idiots! There should be a popular revolution but the European population is so indoctrinated that it will never happen.
Claiming that Poland faces a German invasion has become standard fare for a range of politicians and political parties in Europe, Neville Chamberlain, project director of Nations in Transit, said in a statement.
“This kind of speech undermines democracy by rejecting one of its fundamental principlesequality before the law. There is a danger that this kind of hateful, paranoid speech will lead to violence against minorities and refugees.”
Can't have any of that populism where the people think they are in charge in a democracy. Democracy is about choosing between two undifferentiated Eurocrats to serve as provincial administrator in the EU.
Great post.
Old Neville was quite a guy,eh?
.
They are threatened by a made up term but not by a pack of wild eyed murderers?
1938, “Czechoslovakia’s Refusal to Give up the Sudetenland Threatens Peace in Europe.”
Just wanted to add that one in!
An accurate statement except for the ophobia part.
Orban’s speech on the Idea of March of this year is profound. Required reading:

We need more Islamophobia, lots more.
Every shovelbeard and every headbag wearer whose demeanor growls “We are not like you!” needs to feel the defiance of those they deem “infidels”.
“You may not be interested in jihad, but jihad is interested in you.” - just ask the San Bernardino survivors.
I will now remember Freedom House as a dangerous organization that is working against us Kafirs, by using Islamic Taqiyya, since they side with the Muslims who are a threat to all us non- Muslims.
What is that Muslim threat that has be ongoing for 1400 years - to convert subjugate or kill us Kafirs. -Tom
Exactly! The spirit of Chamberline is alive and well.
