Had me for a second with the #blm hook. Then I remembered it isn't their fault that "we've" purposely provided guns so they can kill each other. The plot thickens. Uh, hey coach, stick to foot ball. You obviously don't know anything about how guns can be obtained despite ANY laws on the books.

It’s not a gun problem, it’s a culture problem.

And helmets are responsible for football injuries. We need to ban them, too.

Yes Sean, that silly Constitution and her accompanying Bill of Rights that we foolishly hang on to, need to go.

Perhaps we should also start listening more to those who say football should be eliminated due to its inherent violent nature.

Let's all think of the many ways we can make every American safer, like getting rid of cars permitting only pedestrian traffic. Too many killed on our highways.

Getting rid of mind altering substances that cause people do react violently and commit crimes they might not otherwise commit.

Knives, forks and spoons should probably be eliminated, because there are people who turn these very items into weapons.

Oh so many items and practices we must rid our society of.

LOL! News hit too close to home,eh? Let him-and the other football fools this city worships keep walking the streets of N.O. at night! Let’em go to the fancy restaurants without their ARMED bodyguards. Let’em hide behind their gated, walled Garden District mansions believing they are safe! Local thug got one of them. Other thugs can get more. It’s a matter of time. Reality won in the Fantasy=vs=Reality New Orleans ‘experience’. Considering football draws it’s ‘talent’ primarily from the thug culture perhaps Payton should start his ‘anti-gun,anti-violence crusade in his locker room. It evidently hurts like hell to face the fact that ‘special’ people like his football goons aren’t any safer in the criminal owned streets than anyone else.

Let’s talk about player bounties- they were ok because your Saints weren’t using guns on the field?

The liberals that hate guns also hate football. Payton made a very dumb move here considering all the concussion hysteria.

The son of a bitch took full advantage of the rights and privileges purchased by the blood of better men than him with guns though. Namely stopping Hitler from making a bar of soap with his father and keeping Togo from working his father to death or using him for bayonet practice.

I understand that this will evoke strong reaction[s] from those whom football coaches are their gods and worship the same. But so be it. Good men died in terrible ways for the right to bear arms and the right to defend one" self and family.

He part of a tiny tiny minority!

And with 7,682,141 checks done already this year, 2016 is expected to break another annual sales record.

Big angry BLACK shoots another BLACK after a hit and run.

“Guns are bad.”

Using that logic:

Blacks should not own cars.
Blacks should not be able to drive.
If these rules were enforced this shooting would not have occurred.

Sean Payton is a complete MORON.

As a matter of fact, there’s a good question of whether the “traffic accident” that allegedly started the atrocity was an accident or a deliberate rear ending used intentionally to stop Smith’s car so the killer, who had a possible motive for murdering Smith, was able to get a shot at him.

Payton can help to stop the madness by lobbying to disarm all the stadium guards.

And his own players.

The one thing you learn when you have been involved with sports at a high level is that a vast majority of coaches, managers, etc are full of s**t. They will write books, probably ghost written, about teamwork, leadership, responsibility, you've heard the whole list. But every time when presented the opportunity to really practice what they preach, they drop the ball every time. And here we have another phony, Sean Payton, evading his sports and maybe himself’s own responsibility for this incident. Instead this jerk blames an inanimate object, and wants to take away my rights to cover for his own failures. What failures you may be asking. For decades these coaches have been encouraging their players or at minimum putting their head in the sand, in regards to steroid use. Guys like Payton cared more about winning meaningless games than unleashing some of these roided up monsters on the general public. So two of these roided behemoths, courtesy of coaches like Payton, square off in the street over a fender bender. Both parties erupt in a roid rage and one of them ends up dead. Who does Payton blame, himself for being part of the problem, hell no. He blames you and me, who just want to exercise our Constitutional Rights.

Here is the sentiment that most of us are angry about (apart from someone like him telling the rest of us our constitutional rights are meaningless):

Bill Whittle: "It's The Steel"

It is a complete liberal mindset to blame the gun.

Coach is stupid, a violent person will find a way to be violent, not the guns fault.
