Yesterday in an interview for a Califoria show Cruz claimed he had won eleven elections in a row. UTah (same day as Arizonia which he lost) ND (insiders only as they cancelled the voting public caucus in January), WY (again insider caucus) and each of the seven district elections in Colorado.

Only one of the above involved the voters. The rest were insiders and claiming each district as a win is highly misleading. If Trump wins all or most of the New York congressional districts he can claim each as a separate win.

“Establishment” isn’t going to help with ELECTORS out of the General Election. 26 of the states have “faithless elector” laws preventing the kind of back dealing the GOPe and Cruz seem fond of. What these machinations might do is to get Cruz the nomination, but it won’t get him the Presidency.

Thank you for putting all that in capital letters. I don’t think I would have been able to comprehend the point otherwise.

Strange times. The most conservative candidate is called “establishment “ by low-info Freepers, and the established Manhattan liberal is called the most conservative.

All you and others can argue is that DT is liberal, but you and other Cruz supporters NEVER argue that Trumps policy positions are liberal....because they are not.
All of his positions that he has talked about are ALL conservative. I have listened to every rally he has had and it never changes. I have watched every video from the 80’s on up....he never changes. The only thing he changed on is abortion, and he never loved it to begin with.
Then he makes the most strongest statement you can make on abortion and the so called pro life on this forum freak out. No, y’all cannot argue with his positions.

Started to reduce listening to all radio and tv about 3 weeks ago, then completely after Wisconsin. It’s been great. I’ve become a low informational voter and love it. All this mental masturbation is now bypassing me.

Cruz tactics working with the GOPe may secure the delegates to stop Trump, I pray not, but he will not be the Republican nominee nor will he be President.

Pretty stupid move on Cruz's part...and something he should have known better than to do after Obama and his "they cling to guns or religion or antipathy" meme.

Well Cruz left himself open to a great counterpunch by Trump with the NY values thing, IMO he should just move on from it.

I have voted here in Georgia for Trump. There is nothing else that I can do except to vote in the general election.

I am becoming increasingly disturbed at the “rule abiding” antics that Ted is working instead of getting out and actually having common everyday Republicans, Democrats, Independents and otherwise disposed voters to go out and vote for him. That insider party crap may work for a nomination, but it won’t work in a general election.

He also voted against funding the 911 first responders health bill. This alone will sink him in the northeast.

Fox has Trump at 53%. He’s going to take all or almost all of the NY delegates. Cruz is going to get schlonged in the NE primaries and I am eagerly looking forward to it.

Right. He wanted it to be paid for by cutting elsewhere, and the Democrats refused.

Having the insider GOPe players nominate the candidate is exactly what I thought Trump AND Cruz were originally opposed to as process. When Cruz saw he could get GOPe support he abandoned his principles.

Earlier today I was listening to radio and a Cruz supporter said if people wanted their candidate the could get active and go to precinct meetings and become precinct chairs, added district and state conventions. The full and half time politicians understand that a vast majority of Republicans and independents WORK, have families and cannot participate in those events. If they have free time it goes to kids ballgames, school activities, church activities, family responsibilities etc. We do take time to vote and expect those representing is to carry out our wishes.

All these insider admonitions about common voters having to ‘get acquainted’ with the party process are BULLSHIT, frankly.

What IS operative here is that group of quisling supporters willing to give up objectivity, fairness and honesty in favor of not coloring outside the GOP party lines. He is bought and paid for by the GOPe, at least until they can take Trump out in a contested convention. And, then it will be half-assed explanations of why Ted couldn’t win the election because of [OOGA BOOGA] Hillary’s Corruption Machine.

The truth is that the GOPe machine doesn’t give a crap about what you or I think, only that we hold our nose and vote for their loser asses again..
