That would be when Ted Cruz and the GOPe find out that there are no party officials who can provide you with electoral votes.

Simple.

If Trump is defeated, the GOP is scr@wed.

They will lose, and stop growing. Democrats take over.

I now hate Cruz with the same intensity as I hate Hillary, but if ‘Cruz the Sleaze’ steals this nomination, I will vote for Hillary.

What Happens If Trump Is Defeated by GOP treachery after winning a nationwide primary vote in a landslide over 16 other candidates?

The GOP establishment people only want one thing... they need to follow through and insure that Hillary wins as agreed.

If Trump loses the nomination, then the GOP can rest easy... she will win and they will have done their part.

If it’s Cruz, I’d vote for him in November. I’d have no enthusiasm for him, though, and probably not even follow the campaign very closely. I won’t even tune in on election night. Why bother? To watch a bunch of smirking jackals on my tv enjoy watching him barely get 200 electoral votes?

Later that week I will probably switch my voter registration to Independent.

I’d probably sit out future elections unless a candidate was particularly exceptional.

As the smart lady said, “what difference, at this point, does it make?”

I believe the Perot stories:

He wanted IN on a Nam Vet rescue misson. Bush Sr (who was head of the CIA) said YES and took his money for the op.

It didn’t go off and Perot was pissed as hell, vowed to SOMEHOW get Bush Sr. back.

Later when Bush Sr. ran for Prez, Perot got his chance, jumping in and out juuuust enough to scuttle Bush Sr.’s Prez aspirations.

And in view of how Colorado turned out, I’d say this is deja vu alllll over again, and now I sorta know how Perot might have felt.

I still think Trump will run independent, I know the arguments that say he can't, all the states with "sore loser" rules and the high expense of an independent run. But lets face it, I think if Trump gets screwed over at the convention that it will be more about making sure the Republican nominee loses than actually winning himself. As for the cost of running an independent run? He gets all the free press he wants so that isn't an issue, and he can run as a write in where he is bared from the ballot.

I'm not advocating this path mind you, it will guarantee a Hillary/Bernie victory, I'm just stating what I think will happen, Trump isn't just going to shrug and walk away quietly, it's not his nature.

If this is going where it seems to be going, the GOP will lose the Presidency, Senate and Congress. Just in time for the biggest bitch in history to take over.

If Trump isn’t the candidate after he wins the 1237 or the will of the people is crushed at the convention, kiss the election goodbye along with the GOP itself because Cruz will LOSE in a LANDSLIDE! I will NEVER vote for Cruz and I bet there are millions more just like me.

I don’t care anymore what Limbaugh thinks or says. He has shown me that his biggest concern is the millions of $s he gets for being controversial, NOT what is right for our country. To him, this a game of have and have-nots and he already has his so EFF those of us who don’t.

> “... and that if they don’t get there this year, ...”

I see what you’re doing there Limbaugh. And you’re also trying to set up Buchanan to deflect from you.

> “Look, the anti-establishment movement is real ... But ***if*** it doesn’t succeed in making great, great inroads in the establishment this time around, “

Take you ‘IFs’, your ‘What Ifs’ and stick em up your big smelly rear.

A big FU to you Limbaugh! And your brother too!

If neither get the votes, RINOs toss Cruz aside like a used tissue and work the delegates to nominate a “moderate unifier.”

I’ll write in Trump and never, ever, vote for a Republican again. I’ve voted straight Republican since 1984. I’m out. My wife’s out. Family members of mine in battleground states will write in Trump, bail on the GOP and never vote Republican again. Maybe I and my family are an aberration, but I doubt it.
