Calling the Colorado Republican Party’s decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote.
“What just happened in Colorado should, frankly, disqualify Cruz, who claims to be a constitutional conservative,” Savage told his listeners Monday.
Savage is a strong supporter of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has been a regular guest on “The Savage Nation.”
Savage said Trump has been “pushed aside by the ‘Republicrat and Demican’ party, which I have told you about since 1994.”
“I told you we don’t have a democracy. It’s how I rose to fame in the radio business. … I position, as I have been all my life, as a total cynic,” he said.
“This is a corrupt, rotten system. It’s a one-party system. It’s demagoguery. There is no two-party system. They are the ones who selected Obama. They are the ones who are selecting Hillary. Make no mistake about it.”
Savage said the “rigged Republican, back-room deal” was “not befitting a free republic” and “something you would expect of Uruguay in the 1940s.”
“How can Mr. Cruz support a rigged election in Colorado and still claim to be a conservative?”
Meanwhile, another top radio talker, Rush Limbaugh, told his audience Monday that Cruz is not cheating, but he’s simply winning at his strategy.

Property rights are eroded by government and corporatists alike. And Trump is on the wrong side of Kelo. I don’t even understand how anybody concerned with rights can support somebody that supports Kelo. It’s a mystery.
That won’t change anything as Ryan will be nominee and Hillary president.
Maybe trump should have said that BEFORE he lost. Violating after you lose is being a poor sport.
But trump is about to finally win one. I believe he will win his home state by 30 points or more.
Also trump should complain that based on the rules he has 22% more delegates than he should. His % of votes is much less than his percent of delegates. When will trump say the system is rigged for him as the front runner?

the colorado caucus process is a sick, ultimate-insider, anti-democratic joke. About half a dozen people show up for each precinct caucus, and “elect” people to attend county assemblies and Congressional district assemblies; the county assemblies “elect” people to the state convention. The CD and State assemblies “elect” then delegates, who are supposedly unbound.
A couple thousand people out of a population of 5 million participate. No one in the state gets to vote in a primary election.
Trump wasn’t going to win any delegates in CO. By him highlighting the arcane way that CO election was handled his campaign can paint a picture that Ted Cruz is a lying, cheating, beltway insider.

It puts Cruz in a no win situation. He followed the rules, but the rules are somewhat unethical, therefore Ted Cruz is unethical.

He and his followers call Trump a crybaby and his “NY values” only marginalizes Cruz more with the northeast states.
Trump’s campaign believes if the can win enough delegates and marginalize Ted Cruz in the northeast CA will be a cakewalk.
If he can’t make it to 1237 prior to the convention, he will continue the narrative into the convention.
