It's the REPUBLICAN NOMINATION. It's being conducted by the republican party as the party sees fit.

That is true, and the general election shall choose electors for President based on their votes. Apparently something the Republican Party no longer wishes to do.

There is a movement to get rid if the electoral college...some GOPe in our state have voted for it...a bunch of states have done so..
