Increased abortion
Increased illegal immigration
Increased funding for the whole spectrum of lunatic Global Warming fanatics
Increased racism
Increased government waste
Increased weakening of America’s military
Increased terrorism targeting Americans
Increased (and very severe) weakening of the US economy
Increased inroads on Second Amendment issues (and very possibly firearms confiscation in many cases)

A contested convention is being touted by the GOPe as a good thing because look, it got us Lincoln! Of course this is a pretty bad analogy as in 1860 the U.S. was on the brink of civil war.
Yes, and Lincoln made sure we had a Civil War than caused the death of the equivalent of 16 million people today and twice that injured. We are still feeling the effects of the Civil War and its aftermath.

Lincoln was before television. The voters are going to see this sausage being made up close and personal. The Republican brand won’t survive that.
We may be pretty close today also. Depends upon the determined will of the people to remain free of tyranny.

That guy oversaw the bloodiest war in U.S. History! It cost the lives of around 620,000. A recent study puts the number of dead as high as 850,000. The lower number constitutes about 2.5% of the population in the 1860’s
To put that into perspective if we lost 2.5% of the population that would be around 8,750,000.
Perhaps we should avoid a brokered convention and just nominate Trump. He has the best chance to win.
If you don’t believe that tell me what candidate on the Republican side can win any state that Romney did not win in 2012?
And loss of the Supreme Court and that means this country will no longer survive.

Really.... the Art of the Deal’s author as the central point of focus for a contested convention. If it was the other way around and Cruz had 700 delegates and Trump had 500, wouldn't people be saying that once Trump got to Cleveland he would wheel and deal the delegate till he won the nomination?
