I am for Trump, but the table showing supposed PAC influence actually shows there is effectively none.
That table shows donations from individuals, with the PAC or group donations on the right-most column.
For the Senate Conservatives Fund, I know those donations came from people like me giving to Cruz's Senate campaign, but through the SCF portal. We do this to have the SCF pay the credit card processing fees so the candidate doesn't have to waste money doing that. However, the donation is direct from donor to campaign—it's just that the SCF “claims” it as having influenced it or encouraged it.
Your table lies, and, again, I'm a Trump supporter.

Ok, would you please list all the acceptable billionaires that are allowed to run for President, since only billionaires can self fund and ergo not be beholden to anyone. Don't take this as a defense or excusing of Cruz, it is neither. But since one of the major arguments made in favor of Trump is his self funding, that same argument would exclude any but Billionaires running for President.

LOL...Lyin Ted sends out plea $$ letters saying he’ll never get - or want - money from DC establishment ~ lobbyists, special interest groups, billionaires. He’s completely owned by them.
You cannot make this stuff up!!

I have a question no one has been able to answer. You've posted a copy of a TedCruz campaign solicitation that talks about those "matching funds". I even asked a phone solicitor. The bad news is I couldn't get an answer, even when the solicitor asked a supervisor. The good news is that I was finally taken off their call list.
This is my question: Who or what is doing the matching? It can't be in my name from someone else. I can't imagine how it can be to the campaign with all the laws about maximum donations. Doesn't the money have to be through a PAC? Wouldn't that be a campaign working in collusion with a PAC, which is supposed to be illegal?
Am I making any sense? If I am, I'm surprised other campaigns haven't made an issue of this.
