Great news for Donald Trump!
Former Mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani told the New York Post that he will be voting for Donald Trump in the April 19th New York primary.
I support Trump. Im gonna vote for Trump, Giuliani told the Post Thursday.
PJ Media goes on to report why hes supporting Trump it had something to do with that comment by Ted Cruz.
Rudy said Cruzs remarks about New York values to score political points did not sit well with the mayor. Its New York City. Were family. I can make fun of New York. But you cant! he said.
I know he was attacking liberal Democratic values. I know. I fought to change those policies in areas like welfare reform and policing, as did Mike Bloomberg. There was a better way to say it.
Giuliani says he doesnt agree with all of Trumps positions but likes his focus on immigration, security, and the economy.
If you dont remember that New York values comment, click HERE and enjoy! Giuliani is a true American. And Im very proud to say he exemplifies the soul of New York.
We wont be pushed around. If we get knocked down we ALWAYS get back up. And if we go go down. We go down swinging. (Now for those of you who want to say Im advocating violence Stop already! These are metaphors. Not to be taken literally!)
I, for one, am thrilled to hear this. I love Americas mayor and I cant wait to see how his endorsement influences those on the fence for Trump.
Rudy!!!! NYC!!!! Trump!!!
We hit back. HARD.
Ted’s jaw is (figuratively) broken.
Donald’s a maniac but he’s OUR maniac.
11 days.
So i am thinking that Cruz and his plan B of calling New York the Babylon and all will be dammed if they won’t support him won’t be put into play? Or will he he call down fire and brimstone upon the unbelievers?

Considering how thin-skinned Texans are, you would have thought that Cruz and others would be more careful about opening up their mouths regarding other states.
Texans thin-skinned? Where would you ever get that idea ... unless you are a leftist who regularly enjoy insulting people from other states.
I have lived here for most of my life and can categorically say that real Texans (not newcomers) are extremely tolerant. As long as you are not messing with my rice bowl, you and I will get along just fine.
... and yes, I do pack heat when I travel.
Texan egos are the stuff of comic legend...
Big ol’ West Texas cowboy is visiting Niagara Falls and a Canadian asks him “bet you haven’t got anything like that in Texas, now do you?” Cowboy says “nope, but we damn sure got a plumber that can fix it fer ya!”
Same cowboy in remedial history class, the teacher is explaining that it is *Alaska* not Texas, that is the largest State, the cowboy says “Not after it melts, it ain’t!”
Thanks folks, I’ll be here all weekend, don’t forget to try the veal, and tip your waitress!
I was born and raised in the Bronx (live in the burbs now). I agree with his NY attitude quote. Im sure when Cruz said what he said he was not talking about 9/11. That was a national disaster. And NY cops and firemen were the bravest of the brave. But Cruz is 100% right about the progressive/liberal/ marxist New York political mentality. Look who NYC has as a mayor. Look at who NY State has as a Governor. I havent decided who I will vote for in the primaries here in NY in a few days. But Cruzs statement on NY wont influence it. Right now it’s a toss up and will most likely be determined by my disgust with the idea of a brokered convention...
Your immediate post and predictable outrage, of course, prove my point.
Yes, indeed, you people are the most thin-skinned people on earth. You (well, I mean the impersonal ‘you’) trash other states and cities on a constant basis here on FR and whine and cry whenever there is pushback.
Cruz, the Canadian by way of Texas, had that typical behavior when he trashed NY in January. He’s still doing it. What good does it do him? He comes across as a nasty man.
I’m surprised Cruz is even polling in double digits in NY. Must be a lot of nose-holding going on among GOPe lackeys and fellow travelers.
Some were interviewed last night on tv and they robotically said ‘constitutional conservative’ every time they were asked why they supported Ted. I’m not even sure they knew what that meant or how it would be applied or what else he would do (jobs, anyone?) for America.
Not for a minute do I believe that Giuliani based his decision on Cruz’s New York values remark.
you may be right, but it’s the @#$#@$ing FIRST TIME I heard a presidential candidate put down a city or state.
it’s suicide. @#$@#$ him.
where would it stop. So and so city or state has lousy work ethic because they have the highest unemployment.
so and so is the most socialist because they get the most back than they give to the fed gov.
and on and on.
He blew it.
And Staten island is hardcore conservative and is a borough of NYC.
Considering how thin-skinned Texans are
That should probably read “Considering how thin-skinned New Yorkers are...”
They seem to be doing the most whining
So Rudy is back in our graces on FR?
LOL. Pee Wee for Cruz!
