He forgot to wonder what kind of U. S citizenship verification papers Cruz used when he turned 16 and went down to the motor vehicle department to get his drivers license. Cruz doesnt think he needs to bother letting it out.
Do you realize Cruz could not get a job as an elementary school teacher anywhere in the U.S.?”
And what passport did he use when he was in high school and went to England for some competition?
What papers did his mom submit to get that passport for him?
Was he on —her— passport?
Sure is a lot of fuss over who will be the standard-bearer of a party that will just betray conservatism in the end every time anyhow.
We don't. Prepare yourself spiritually, psychologically, and politically for President Clinton and the dominance of the Democrat Party for the rest of your natural life. Prepare for a revisiting of the First and Second Amendment cases and unfavorable rulings going forward. Pray for peace and contentment amidst persecution. Do not look for political salvation in this world.
Kraut’s dream is a floor fight where Ryan or Romney gets drafted and steals the nomination. Lets just try to be real about who Krauthammer is, Mondale’s former speechwriter. Kraut went from Democrat to GOPe not a big jump.
There is not going to be a big floor fight between Trump and Cruz. By the time of the last primary on June 7th Trump should have between 1150 and 1200 delegates. Cruz maybe 850. That’s apples and oranges friends. Trump is simply going to cut a deal with most likely Kasich for his 143 delegates and win on the first ballot. He would be insane to let himself walk into a floor fight and Trump is not insane.
Here’s my take: No GOP candidate in American history has won the nomination without first taking SC and Florida. Trump destroyed Cruz in both states. No GOP candidate in American history has won the presidency without carrying Ohio, VA, Florida and the South. Trump has done this in the primaries and destroyed Cruz in these states. Trump will go into the convention with hundreds of more delegates and millions of more voters than anyone running against him. If the GOPe greases the wheels for Cruz or any other candidate there is no need in voting and the primaries should be done away with. If this happens Hillary Clinton is the next president. The GOPe and the media despise Trump because they know he’s the only republican that win the presidency. He’s the reason the GOP primary has gained millions of more voters this year than 2012. Not Cruz, but Trump. He can get cross-over democrats to vote for him, Cruz can not. Cruz is also constitutionally ineligible for the office of the presidency but that’s another entire thread. GOPe would rather see Hillary Clinton elected than Trump and that’s why its all hands on deck to destroy him.
Krauthammer is your typical atheist Jew.
Cruz could less that the American people have resoundingly told him they want Trump. He intends on “winning” the nomination by stolen delegates at the convention. And by the way he’s still ineligible for the office.
Defend the GOP establishment all you want, but the Republican Congress rolled over for Obama. They could have played hardball, but didn’t. Instead of controlling the purse strings in order to get Obama to comply, they gave him the budget Obama desired—all tied up with a bow on top.
Given your rousing defense of the establishment, it sounds as if Paul Ryan may be your candidate. Good luck to you.
I doubt Cruz will win the presidency. But I will not be surprised if he gets the nomination.
I believe with all my heart that he has been a plant since day one. He said all the right things and conservatives were all giddy at the mention of his name.
And to hedge their bets they put Rubio out there for conservatives to get giddy about. He went down early so they shifted all their resources to Cruz. I believe they’d be doing this if Trump had never announced.
Like I said, fool me once (McCain), fool me twice (Romney) fool me thrice (Cruz). I could actually start with Bush as #1. How many times do they get away with this before we stop being so gullible?
But to say, as you did, that the GOP Congress "meekly passed everything Obama wanted and didn't even offer token opposition," is simply spreading a lie. The fact that they indisputably caved on some stuff doesn't negate the fact that they did fight hard against other stuff. I gave you specific examples of incredibly important legislation that they fought against and won, and you won't even address them.
So go ahead, convince yourself that there's no difference between a Congress controlled by Republicans, and one controlled by Democrats. We all may be unlucky enough to see that difference ourselves in the near future if all the whiners stick with their threats to stay home if their preferred candidate is nominated.
Yeah, then what?
The RATs bring a million law-suits declaring him ineligible, and RAT judges will concur. Just before the election.
If he were to make it past that, only Cruz supporters would vote for him in November. That's not going to cut it.
Oh yeah!
Well I know for a fact that he doesn't like green eggs and ham.
