Well, from the article it does imply that the students are attending. And as it is a religious school, it is quite likely that the students parents would be attending too seeing as how Cruz does promote himself as the Evangelical candidate. The religious schools who host things like this tend to try to have the parents be involved. I used to be one such parent.

Just a general note of interest while waiting for the rally to start......

I have seen "non Cruz" supporters show up on threads continually making fun of Cruz for his "small" rallies that do not match the "massive" meetings of Trump.

Smacks a little bit of an "elitist mentality", doesn't it?

Not necessarily, as we've seen in the states Cruz has won

But I have wondered if it has something to do with it being easier to control "protester outbreaks" in a small venue compared to large ones like Trump has.

I think what it is is that Cruz cannot draw big crowds or he would be glad to do it but Trump can. Trump has won more primaries because more republican voters by about 2 million want Trump over Cruz. That’s why Cruz has so many less delegates than Trump has. He’s just not as popular.

It is very important that facts such as the size of Cruz rallies be reported.

We have to keep in mind how easy it was for the media to create a Ted is ahead meme by simply not reporting anything about him that was negative and ordering polls that made Trump look bad. That makes the cheat easiier and plausible.

Trump doesn’t have that luxury because the media, GOPe, Dems, are all working together to eliminate Trump.

It doesn’t mean they love Ted, it means they will use Ted to eliminate Trump.

You may be right.....but if I was a candidate, I would probably keep it to smaller events, also, for safety reasons.

We've seen what has happened at some of Trump's rallies.... (And NO, I am not placing blame on Trump).

But it does prove the point that with crowds so LARGE, it is hard to keep security under control....because there are too many people versus security personnel.
