Cruz will not drop out after he is eliminated on April 26th.
The Gateway Pundit ^ | April 2, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Based on current delegate counts and poll numbers Ted Cruz will be mathematically unable to reach the delegate count required for him to win the Republican Presidential nomination. By the end April it will be clear that Ted Cruz has no chance of reaching the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination.

Do you seriously expect a candidate to turn away support? Christe is as RINO as they come. Did Trump tell him to pound sand? No, Trump continues to revel in his support. Did Trump sell out when he brought Christe on board?

lol...bad comparison. Christie is one guy and a personal friend of Trump's. His loyalty to Trump was what did it. Cruz on the other hand has no friends...yet somehow he let his campaign be taken over by the establishment players. Watch his campaign. It's no longer about fighting the entrenched powers in Washington DC. That was boob bait for the bubbas to get him to a certain place. Now he's sold out. Now it's hate Donald Trump all the time and blame Donald Trump for everything. Your boy sold out plain and simple and is doing EXACTLY what the establishment wants him to.

Here is honesty: people like you cite “integrity” and Cruz’s great “Christian values.” Yet he clearly goes around the will of the voters (and he knows he’s doing this) to undercut the results of fair and open elections.

That’s slime. That’s a smear.

He’s disgusting. It’s one thing for someone who doesn’t profess to be St. Ted to do this. I expect it from Romney. I sure didn’t think Cruz would do this, but again, the guy has once and for all exposed himself.

So there’s honesty. Let St. Ted EVER again cite the Constitution, or the will of the people. No one will take him seriously.

If Cruz says that Kasich must bow out, because he cannot reach the 1237, the same will be true for Cruz in less than 30 days, and if he is not a Hypocrite, he will bow out, too.

Trump is a political outsider. Labels don't matter to him as they do to Saint Ted who attacks the Washington Cartel and presumes to be the arbiter of who is and is not a conservative.

Cruz is a sellout by accepting the tepid endorsement of Graham a member of the Gang of 8 and the GOPe personified. Who is the real hypocrite?

TRUMP has a path to reach 1237 without Wisconsin, that’s true. He has 53% of the delegates already. Cruz has half as many, roughly, and we are headed into TRUMP country when we get to the rust belt and then California.

TRUMP seems cool about all the brouhaha the media and the Cruz camp are blowing out there, among the rubes. And, the Donald now has his delegate team in place, so yes, things are much in TRUMP’s favor to clear 1237.

Cruzaders are pretty desperate, found depending on dirty tricks to have even a prayer. I think Cruz falls over soon.
There will be too much backlash by May for him to salvage his career.

"So getting 37% of the vote guarantees you the nomination?"

Apparently only getting 27% does in some peoples' eyes.

Cruz is a hypocrite. He is running as a Christian Conservative Constitutionist.

He has run the least Christian campaign of any of the candidates, (Glen Beck, Lies, Jeff Roe).

He is aligned with all of the party’s anti-conservatives (Bush, Romney, etc).

He is running knowing he is not eligible, in direct conflict with the Constitution.

Political friends aren’t the same as real friends...here’s what Christie had to say about his good friend!!

These are the most dangerous, perilous times in our country’s recent history. These times and these challenges demand a grownup. They demand someone who has been fighting today’s battles in the arena, not sidelined for years; not running away from the battles when they get too hot or when they get too discouraged. Showtime is over. We are not electing an entertainer in chief. Showmanship is fun, but it is not the kind of leadership that will change America. If we are going to turn our frustration and anger with the D.C. insiders, the politicians of yesterday and the carnival barkers of today into something that actually changes American lives, we must elect someone who has been tested. Someone with proven experience. Someone who knows how to make decisions because he has been making them for years, in the middle of the firefight between big government liberalism and our brand of freedom-loving conservatism. Someone who has been held responsible and accountable for decisions, not someone who just changes the next vote if the last one just didn’t work out.

I don’t find any news indicating the results you are saying. Here is a article from Fox
dated April 2, 2016.

http://kdvr.com/2016/04/02/cruz-wins-all-of-colorado-delegates-from-saturdays-two-congressional-conventions/

Snip

Montana Republicans are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to step in as early as this week
and force the state to “close” its upcoming primary so only GOP voters can participate — in
a case that could pose complications for Donald Trump.

The Republican front-runner so far has done better in “open” primaries, where members
of both parties can vote, than in “closed” primaries limited to Republican voters only.

Montana, set to vote June 7, has had an “open primary” since 1912.

end snip

What about when they lying GOPee threaten to change the rules, during the game?

It’s hard to play fair, when you’re playing against cheaters.

Up until this moment there has been but one Threat to change the Rules.

That would be Donald Trump's threat to sue over the proportion of Delegates in the State of Louisiana. Rules that were on the books when Donnie added him name to the primary candidates.

So what were you saying about changing rules? Who's the one attempting to cheat by changing the rules is LA? Oh that would be Donnie, but hey folks, over there - SQUIRREL.

Wrong on both counts....votes don’t count...delegates do...and the eventual nominee will have 1237!!!

Bad Comparison, no not really. Just an example writ large of the rules for thee but not for me attitude of Trump, his campaign and many of his followers.

My information is that your assertion is just not true, the rule is not limited to one vote by its language:

You misunderstood my point. It is not that the rule does not apply to subsequent ballots but that the delegates would be free to support and vote for whomever they wish. Thus before a second ballot Paul Ryan could go to eight or more state delegations and have a majority of those delegates sign a letter stating that they support him for the nomination and thereby "demonstrate the support of a majority of the delegates from each of eight (8) or more state." His name would then be qualified to be entered into the nomination. The lack of this support in the first ballot because they were pledged to another candidate would at this time mean nothing.

Don’t know that Cruz will get the nomination, perhaps if he knows the rules better than trump.

They’re really going to be pissed off when that doesn’t happen...they say their leaving for good!! And taking their ball with them!!

My thoughts.....BYE! If they can't play by the rules AS STATED when the campaign started then leave. CRUZ or Trump either on and their supporters. Excuse me while I go puke!
