If you walk away from treaties then how are you still allies?
How much does Donald Trump think the U.S. is paying?
You may be right but I think for once in our lives we need to take care of ourselves financially. Once we do that then perhaps we can assist others.
That has been the argument about not cutting our debt forever. We never cut because the savings will be minimal. Well if we start cutting everywhere it adds up. Families with 20 thousand in debt don’t say, “well since cable is only $120 a month and won’t put much of a dent in the budget debt so let’s just keep the cable.” You are basically using that argument.
yeah but you don’t say “good luck” or “have fun” or whatever he said.
maybe it’s just me. I’m still voting for him.
He is not polished that’s for sure. I think that’s part of his attraction. Lol.
More like "cable is only $120 a month" so you drop HBO for savings. Then you get ten pay-per-view movies each month. Where did your savings go?
So the U.S. cancels their treaties with Japan and Korea and resigns from NATO. The costs involved in moving all those troops and ships and aircraft and equipment back to the U.S. and then finding a place to base them in the U.S. is not going to be inexpensive and will likely consume any savings you may be thinking of.
If Japan and Korea know that the U.S. won't be there for them in the event of North Korean aggression then what you are doing is giving those two countries no choice but to cut a deal with China. If eastern Europe knows that NATO is toothless then they will have to work out deals with Russia. Who will be left for President Trump to be the leader of?
My impression of his meaning is that we are doing most of the work in military terms. I do not think he addressed how much we pay financially to NATO in the town hall I watched last night. I do not know if he addressed it elsewhere, nor do I know how much we pay finacially nor do I know what his impression is of it.
I agree completely. The house is on fire and we must put the fire out now rather than concentrating on determining how we want to redecorate it. Many people are in a daze and do not comprehend the gravity of our situation. They think everything is OK and politics as usual will suffice. It won’t!
That's never going to happen.
You're absolutely right........When you research their air force capability, they're still flying planes from the 50's and the most modern fighters were hand-me-downs from the Russians and made in the 80's.....
Their people are starving, half the country doesn't have electricity and their ability to fuel their military apparatus for any extended time is questionable.
As far as nuclear abilities, that's still questionable but it's reasonable to assume that any missiles they could launch would easily be intercepted.......
