He’s the black guy who ran for President 4 years ago and who was pretty well trashed here on FR.
Nice story about DT. I have heard good stories about him over the year like the one where a fellow helped change his tire and didn’t want anything for it. Later he found out his house morgage had been paid off by Mr. Trump. I always have thought that Mr. Trump must have a good heart from the stories circulating about him long before he ran for President.
Herman Cain? I was one of his supporters.
I watched the last few rounds of the tournament today. I knew he was a Trump supporter and this would be his first PGA Tour win so I was rooting hard for him. I honestly thought the pressure was getting to him and that he might choke, but he was a warrior. Gets to play in The Masters next week for the first time ever.
“I start back at my job on Tuesday..*smiles* i mow fairways at Flanders Valley....”
One of my first jobs as a kid...back when kids did work...was as a caddy at a local Donald Ross course on the North Shore of Boston. I love being on a golf course. Don’t know what my life would have been without it.
I’d like to get a Marshall’s job at my Uncle Frank’s old Club down there, Doral. He worked there for years. I think I’ll tweet the Donald....hahahahaha....
“Ping!!”
No, Callaway!
I enjoyed rooting for Herman. I didn’t know he had a connection with Trump until the announcers talked about well into the round. Great story all around. Given the Trump connection, I’m guessing the MSM will downplay the story. It reflects well on Trump — and you know, they can’t have that. Regardless, congrats for his first tour win and his first opportunity to play in the Masters next week.
“””Winners can spot winners.
One reason I think a Trump cabinet would be the best thing to happen to this country in years. He wouldn’t pick losers (loo-sahs!), that’s for sure. “””””
Zacktamundo. He doesn’t owe anyone any favors. The best people will be put in place because HE DOES NOT NEED THE JOB.
Most of these other politicians running for office need a political job because they could never succeed out in the real world.
I GUARANTEE if elected, he'll donate his presidential salary to charity.
Hey...why not.Although the weather has to break soon..its down right food out there now...and with the wind eeeekks..gonna be around 30 tomorrow morning with 30- 40 mile gust..burrr
lol
LOL!
My first good set of clubs were PINGs.
The last set I bought were Callaway...loved ‘em!
I’m right-handed but play left-handed...so not able to try as many clubs as a right-handed golfer.
That was bloody awesome!
Terrific story and great win, I love seeing ‘newbies’ win.
Trump wouldn’t be a successful business man without being positive.
A number of things turned me from Cruz to Trump: The absolute psychotic hate by the elite crowd.
A caller on a national radio show by a never Trump who said Trump hasn’t accomplished one thing in his life.
And of the Cruzers here wanting the same old same old, bashing capitalism. I guess they hate Trump because they can’t afford to stay at one of his hotels or join a Trump golf club.
I like Cruz, but I read Cruz supporters saying complete BS like that on FR all the time. Really, people?
I suspect many of them are getting paid-per-post.
“Im right-handed but play left-handed...so not able to try as many clubs as a right-handed golfer.”
My brother was a scratch golfer. He always carried a left handed 6 iron in his bag. Said it was worth giving up a club for that occasional up against a tree shot...I never tried to copy him, I needed them all. Even then...
One of my favorite cartoon strips. :-)
RIP, Jim Unger.
I am not sure why trump hasn’t brought out his woman success stories from his businesses. I am sure there are many. Start with bringing out a woman who started as a secretary and advanced to upper management or something. Maybe he’s waiting till the general. Of course he’s doing great so I guess I should let him continue. Trump may be the first nominee for any party to spend a very small amount of money on his campaign. A Twitter account and rallies is how trump became the 45th president of the United States. A true success story!
I’d love his salary to go right to the debt. His first payment on the 19 trillion and many more from there. Trump just might be the miracle this country needs.
