Wisconsins politics seem to make little sense.
Three times its people sent Russ Feingold, hero of the left and author of a landmark law to curb big money in campaigns, to the Senate. In 2012, they elected Tammy Baldwin as the first openly gay person to the Senate. They have voted Democratic in every presidential election since 1988.
Yet theyve also embraced Scott Walker, the combative conservative Republican, voting three times for him as governor since 2010.
Theyve also sent Ron Johnson, a Republican, to the U.S. Senate as part of the tea party wave of 2010 that ousted Feingold. Johnsons lifetime American Conservative Union rating is 98. For comparison, Baldwins is 1.82.
It really is different here, said Mike Tate, former chairman of the Wisconsin Democratic Party.

Interesting read ...I expect Cruz to win this one with the GOPe’s help ...let’s see how this plays out ...
Anybody can find a Wisconsin poll that will make them happy.
But on election night I think only Trump will be happy.
If Trump wins Wisconsin head will explode. Here and all over TV.
We’ll see.
The one thing about this contest, the polls can be spot on, or off by a mile.
It’s looking more like my vote will matter, contrary to what I believed a few months ago.
At this point, I’m going all in. GO TRUMP !!
Wisconsinites will vote for a fighting conservative, but they have to fight, so it makes it past the media cartel filter in the state.
Tammy Baldwin ran on “Family Principles” in the state, with a picture of some unrelated man and kids. Tommy Thompson was to afraid to mention that Baldwin was a lifetime far left lesbian activist. Thompson “assumed” he would win. He did not fight. Baldwin became senator.
The Democrats in Wisconsin are masters of appearing conservative before elections, then voting very far left.
I predict Trump will win 4 or 5 of these districts: 1 . 3 4 5 . 7 8 Cruz will win district: . 2 (Madison) this district: . . . . . 6 (may be too close to tell, not enough data) and Kasich or Cruz MAY also win: (one or two of the Trump districts above) Net assuming Trump wins only 4 of those districts plus the statewide = 30 delegates best guess Cruz = 6 or 9 delegates best guess Kasich = 3 or 6 delegates
I want to see that. I’ll vote for Trump on Tuesday.
When a headline claims it’s impossible to predict, then Trump has it wrapped with a big red bow. Go, Trump!
That’s Roseanne Barr !?
Exactly. As the Bible tells us, only God really knows what's going to happen tomorrow. Same with the weather forecast. LOL.
Wow! Cruz has had some major cosmetic surgery! What an improvement!
Impossible?
I predict Cruz will win the most Delegates in Wisconsin.
I just hope Cruz doesn’t get all 42. I’m still hoping for a trump surprise win.
