Clinton aides unite on FBI legal strategy
Politico.com ^ | 4/1/16 | Rachael Bade

Four former staffers have been using the same lawyer during the investigation — suggesting they're not worried about legal jeopardy. The united front suggests they plan to tell investigators the same story — although legal experts say the unusual joint strategy still presents its own risks, should the interests of the four aides begin to diverge as the probe moves ahead.

This story was out 4 hours before I posted.

If FReepers weren’t so busy peeing on each others shoes, we could focus on the enemy.

As soon as the FBI would make just one of the aides an offer for cooperation the attorney would have to withdraw and quit representing them all or it would be a blatant conflict of interest.

This is a tight spot for Hillary and her minions. They don’t know what the FBI knows. Were they able to recover those 30,000 emails Hillary decided were “personal” (criminal?) and deleted? Anything but the absolute truth is an automatic obstruction of justice charge.

I bet they all lawyer up and don’t say a word.

Don’t you think you add a little more of the content of the article?

Some legal experts might call that a conspiracy to obstruct justice, like maybe if Hillary was a Republican.

If I were the FBI...as soon as I got to the interview with the number two person on the list....I’d ask over and over....are you sure that’s how it went, and suggest that maybe their version didn’t quiet jive with what person number one said. By the end, I’d go to the weakest of the four, and pose a compromise deal where they talk and convict the other three.

Of all people, Hillary should know the pitfalls of such a strategy. Haldeman and Ehrlichman are good examples.

Let them read from the same script. It won’t matter because Clinton has made so many public statements that have been shown to be false, she will have to explain the discrepancies, which will likely lead to a perjury trap. Unless the fix is in (highly likely) she will be hoist by her own petard.

I just finished watching Joe DiGenova ,on Youtube, talking about the email scandal. One can only hope he’s correct in his assessments and that the FBI has the same degree of passion about what Hillary has done. He has a particular animus toward Patrick Kennedy who sounds like a real piece of work.

For the obtuse, the enemy is the GOPe!!!

The GOPe hates conservatism, foists “electable” candidates upon us, and sandbags and backstabs genuine conservatives.

Whenever the GOPe encounters those who are not big corporate executive campaign contributors, K Street lobbyists, or members of the country club, they go all out to destroy them.

Do not castigate those on FR who are fighting back and who refuse to countenance the “more of the same” corruption from the GOPe and its toady Republican politicians.

Because we find there is an enemy within, the GOPe trying to take the election.
Then Cruz who is married to Miss Goldman Sachs is stealing delegates in various stories making Ted probably THE WASHINGTON CARTEL himself.

So, a story of the choice of how Hillary will present her lie isn't all that dramatic or important as you make it seem because we are witnessing various attempts to pull the rug out from under the vote of people in the Republican Primaries.
I also note we further find the leader of the Republican race being attacked in unprecedented fashion from all sides.

So in conclusion the story of how Hillary will present her lies is nothing compared to the realities of all the knives being presented into the Republican voters back sides.

Hi, honey. I'm going to yoga practice, and then I have to pick out the table settings for Chelsea's wedding. Bring the bag with the $500 000 from Gazprom to the yoga class (they were very grateful for those concessions), and could you drop off the check from Prince Bandar at the bank on the way?

excerpt from the article:

"The strategy can also bolster the defense team as a whole, allowing the lawyer to gather information from multiple clients to help benefit another, legal experts said. Wilkinson, for instance, will get an idea of the FBI’s line of questioning after her first client's interview, which could benefit following witnesses.

gotta get their story straight.

less chance of obstruction or lying to a federal agent.

Right. Then everyone involved would have to hire new lawyers, and those new lawyers would have to be given time to get up to speed. This could well delay everything until after November's election. And that might be the plan all along.
