While disavowing Donald Trump's involvement in the National Enquirer story, campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared to admit Tuesday that Ted Cruz's campaign had no involvement in the Melania Trump Facebook ad.
This comes after nearly two weeks of accusations from Trump himself that the Texas senator was directly involved.

If we could actually get evidence that Cruz campaign bought rights to GQ picture and gave it to the PAC then it will be different. That’s actual evidence
Now, there is no photo evidence how that photo made its way from Jeff Roe to Cruz's PAC for the ad so I assume that's to what Lewandowski is referring.

IF the first part of that sentence is wrong (the speaker assumes it is) THEN the second part of that sentence is wrong (the speaker again assumes it is).
This, therefore, is wrong, according to the Trump campaign:
