>>Moses must be doing a good job of convincing God not to zot us these days

God is not surprised by our antics. Remember that as Christianity dies in the USA, it thrives overseas in Asia and Africa. The real test of the Christian is staying faithful in a place that is hostile to God. Our dwindling remnant will be tested. Rejoice that we are chosen to be his in a nation that hates him.

Demanding equality merely perpetuates the current state of unending conflict, contradiction, and confusion, because entities are constantly in competition for power — for supremacy, in fact, whether they admit it or not.

Exalting equality as if it’s the goal just means that nobody is really allowed to achieve anything, excel, have privilege, or enjoy more and better opportunities. It obviates the very reason for striving toward achievement in the first place.

If all opportunity is equalized, then no real opportunity exists. Opportunity is, by definition, an exceptional situation, not the default norm of uniform egalitarian non-striving and failure.

Every opportunity, furthermore, is actually in and of itself an outcome of some kind of prior striving.

I defy anyone to point to some example of “equal opportunity” and try to say there’s nowhere it’s denied someone by nature, by government, by competitive conditions...

Therefore, equality is not what should be demanded, nor should discrimination be decried. Inequality and discrimination are actually the goals! Otherwise, how does one recognize and promote/protect the desirable over the undesirable; or protect territory won at bitter cost?

Rush Limbaugh didn’t give McAuliffe the nickname “The Punk” for no good reason.

I have a better one. In WWII General Anthony Clement McAuliffe became famous for the one word response to a German request for surrender at Bagstone, “Nuts.” The punk can bear the new nickname, “No Nuts.”

BTW the great general isn’t related to No Nuts.

Christian Confectionars are now forced by government to pack the fudge of gay guys.

Christian Edible-Packaging Tasters are now forced to eat lesbians.boxes.

Christian Donkey-Meat Prep-Chefs are now forced to pound the asses of queers.

Christian Bedding Durability Testers are now forced to bite pillows for homosexuals.

Christian Building-Column Fire-Safety Testers are now forced to smoke poles for gays.

And he would vehemently deny it even if he were! ;-)

And the right to yell and stand up and disagree.

To hell with them.

I honestly think we should have a million plus lawsuits going and just totally bankrupt the other side.

The Republican Party is using this as an emotional wedge with one notable exception, North Carolina, where Republican Governor Pat McCrory vetoed similar legislation last year.

The GOP in NC was able to create a federal court fight in the election year and looking good by acting to shut down the trangender bathroom ordinance in Charlotte with legislation.

McCrory’s Democrat opponent for governor this year also happens to the be the state’s Attorney General.

The Dem AG refusing to defend the new law also rebounds to make Republican grassroots voters angry and coming out to support Governor McCrory.

But McCrory still vetoed religious freedom legislation last year like Nathan Deal did in Georgia the other day and it was then overridden by the NC legislature.

It’s par for the course regarding NBC. I’m surprised the headline didn’t describe the legislation as “hateful”.

While Bob McDonnell is awaiting prison when no one could find any favors he did for Johnny Williams,we get this.

‘As reported by the Virginia Bureau of Watchdog.org, Planned Parenthood contributed more than $1.7 million to McAuliffe’s gubernatorial campaign in 2013. Abortion industry lobbying organization NARAL donated $56,000 to his campaign as well.’

“We now know how much money it costs to purchase a veto from Terry McAuliffe – right around $2 million in campaign contributions,” Victoria Cobb, president of The Family Foundation of Virginia, said.

A jubilant Planned Parenthood, however, gave McAuliffe thank-you notes from abortion supporters.

It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.…

. . .and we can thank “Libertarian” Robert Sarvis for giving us Terry McAwful. . .

Whenever a Clinton crony needs to win, they find a former lib to run as a conservative or 3rd party to siphon away votes. Yet no one ever seems to notice that play, no matter how many times they run it...
