Like my home state. The majority voted in a leftist tool, governor. There appears to not be enough votes in the legislature, to overturn. I recommend the lower half of the state secede from beltway Virginia, much like West Virginia separated.

Context: Sodom and Gomorrah were non-existent in the time of Isaiah's prophecy. They were destroyed in Genesis during the time of Abraham. The previous verse (9) indicates God's people had become as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the total destruction comes in chapters 3-4. We will be utterly destroyed.

It is the freedom TO discriminate, which one does multiple times throughout the day: Which way to work, where to eat, where to shop, movie to watch....all personal discriminations.

Unfort. there is no real opposition to the co-opting of the English language by the Left, nor do (most) know how to articulate/debate intelligently (to convey).

Course, I am presuming we have more than ONE major party; which we all know is patently false. /semi-s

The governor and the companies that supported this veto are arguably trying to repeal the 14th Amendment (14A).
14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the low-information governor and the companies that supported the veto don’t know that 14A exists.

The states that are establishing LGBT protections are also arguably violating Clause 1 of Section 10 of Article I, that clause prohibiting the states from establishing protected, privileged classes.

Clause 1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility [emphases added].

Think about it. Our founders believed firmly in discrimination in government/public administration also. They declared their intentions as to how America should look and think. Without such an agenda, what you’re saying is that it really doesn’t matter if America becomes majority Muslim, thereby voting into office Muslims everywhere, ushering in sharia, etc. Because to express and enforce explicit preference/discrimination against that scenario is, to you, wrong.

The actual problem is that government is going to discriminate in favor of some group/s no matter what; it’s impossible not to. The real question is, in favor of which group/s?

The Japanese have the right idea. They discriminate in favor of their own kind, the group which conquered that territory, so as to maintain control over it.

Meanwhile, our government discriminates in favor of non-whites/anyone who is not a straight white male, beause the agenda now is to just scuttle all the sacrifices of those who founded and fought to win and populate this territory.

Don’t be a cuckservative.

I saw a campaign sticker that pretty much sums up where we are heading...it looks like a regular button with the red white an blue bunting an where the candidates name would go it reads : “the all suck”

First they discriminated against whites to give preferential treatment to blacks; eventually the white women got their preferences over white males. It is up to white men to push back and demand equality as everyone else has been elevated in order to equalize; the equalization has created discrimination, period.

It has taken me decades to undo the brainwashing from my younger years. I used to be repulsed by those who spoke the way I now think and speak. I was told all my life that equal opportunity was sacrosanct, that anyone who thought otherwise was immoral, and that ‘color-blindness’ is a virtue and the legitimate overall goal of public policy.
