Trump Advisor: A Vote for Ted Cruz is a Vote to Offshore American Jobs
economyincrisis ^ | March 25, 2016 | Matthew Wisner

Posted on 03/30/2016 4:29:17 AM PDT by central_va

Trump Campaign Senior Policy Advisor Stephen Miller addressed Friday why immigration and trade are key issues in the Republican frontrunner’s campaign.

“Well, there is very little right about our trade deals, there is virtually nothing right about our trade deals. We’ve been getting taken to the cleaners by every country we trade with. We have a trade deficit with almost all of our major trading partners. If you look at, for instance, say Japan, and our car trading deficit, or you look at China, where we have hundreds of billions of dollars in trade deficits, so our entire trade policy needs to be retooled,” Miller told the FOX Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo.

Miller then weighed in on some of the changes the Donald would make if elected president and how his plan differs from that of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

“One major change we have to make, is to stop foreign currency cheating, the devaluation of foreign currencies to put American companies out of business. And that is a big difference in this race. Ted Cruz has voted consistently to protect China and protect China’s ability to devalue their currency. Donald Trump has pledged to crack down on currency. So a vote for Ted Cruz really is a vote to offshore American jobs to China.” said Miller.

Cruz is fooling a lot of onetime savvy Freepers into thinking he is anti Establishment. That is the real hopelessness going on on here.

He is just another Ivy League glowBULList hack politician in the pocket of the Cheap Labor Express. To cement his credentials he even has a problem keeping it ziped up.

Yes, the rabbit Cruzbots are a strange lot. I thing they are more anti-Trump then pro Cruz. That they are willing to go to bed with the Bushes, big banks, etc is quite revealing.

Do you know went the next issue of NE comes out? If they really have a story I'd expect a little more info in the next issue, drip, drip, drip. But if they were just witch hunting then I expect them to go black.

“Cruz did pay Goldman Sachs back. His loans (against his own assets by the way) have already been paid back.”

There you go confusing people with the facts again.

We import most things.

Less tariffs, less income tax, less government, like the founders intended.

Get used to it bud.

He did declare it on other forms.

It was a clerical error on that one form.

If he commuted a crime, why no charges from the FEC? Why no investigation? Because it’s BS rhetoric from an opposition campaign.

So either he was being honest, or he is all bark and no bite.

So which is it? Is he a terrible negotiator or is he is progressive for massive import taxes??

Not sure when it comes out , but I will be looking for it.

It is strange to watch them ignore certain questions like how can cruz win when he came third in 3 important swing states and never won a county in two of them.?
Or Why can’t cruz just say he has never cheated on his wife?
Or why was he against eh establishment and now he is for it.
Another is will cruz get the delegates and win NY, NJ, PA, RI, DE, MD, CA and every time they don’t want to admit they want the contested convention and help the establishment.

but the best one is that they still deny they are now supporting the establishment.

Have you found an American manufacturer for Trump’s clothing lines? Oh wait, Cruz’s NAFTA destroyed America’s Textile manufacturing. So a Problem created by Globalist Bush Cartel Cruz is what you just used to attack an American first candidate.

... sorry, we see, hear and know him personally and up close here in TX, and don’t buy the Alinski meme that he is the boogieman. He has done what he promised and is grounded in the Constitution, even though the GopEE thinks they can use him and then discard him. We count on the Bushes being in for a surprise, but you can believe all the “tool” talk you want... we have seen results.

I’m aware that for prosperity to occur, we cannot operate Ina vacuum.

Does that mean we get the shaft? Of course not. But it also does not mean proposing taxes on imports.

2 things would happen:

1. The goods impacted would instantly go up in price by whatever levy was applied.

2. The countries on the receiving end of the levy would apply the same levy to our goods being imported into their country.

Why wouldn’t they?

Don’t be naïve.

This man is proposing liberal progressive ideas and you folks are going along with it because he promises to “Make America Great Again”

The FEC is investigating that is how we know about it. I gave you two possibilities as to why Cruz, the smartest lawyer in America, did not declare the loan. He is incompetent, or he figured he could get another very low interest loan to pay the fines.

The FEC is not the opposition campaign... I feel sorry for your blind loyalty. You have danced all around and have yet to even get the facts of why this is even being discussed. Everything is Trump's fault... is not a sign of having much gray matter.

Get with the program. Higher taxes, more government, limited property rights. It’s the new normal.

So the Bank that owns your mortgage can control how you vote... That’s a stupid argument; shows Cruz acolytes cannot tell the difference between normal business loans and Banks/lobbyists owning crooked politician.

But then when one is publicly supporting another Globalist supporting (Wrote NAFTA, Bush camp, etc.) Ivy League DC Insider lawyer who began creating conservative optics when he hitched his wagon to the Tea party for his run for office - we should not expect much...
